𝗣𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗫 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗛 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 — how the system works.

pH in a process line is rarely steady. Incoming water quality, flow, temperature, and any chemicals added upstream all push it up or down throughout the day. And because the pH scale is compressed, even a small shift is a big change in the water's actual acidity — enough to cause scaling, corrosion, or out-of-spec discharge. Keeping it in range needs continuous control, not occasional manual dosing.

The PrudeX system works as a simple, constant feedback loop:

Measure — A pH sensor sits directly in the flow and reads the water continuously. A built-in temperature sensor corrects the reading automatically, so the value stays accurate whether the water is warm or cool.

Control — The controller compares that live reading against your target value. If the pH drifts, it calculates exactly how much correction is needed — and ignores tiny, harmless fluctuations so it isn't constantly overdosing.

Dose — The controller then signals Injecta s.r.l. dosing pumps, which adds acid or alkali in proportion to how far off the pH is. A small deviation gets a small dose; a larger one gets more. Acid brings high pH down; alkali brings low pH up.
When flow changes a lot through the day, the system can also adjust the dose to match the flow rate — so it stays accurate whether the line is running fast or slow No-flow interlock via flow switch, reagent-tank low-level cutout, and high/low pH alarms.

Monitor — Every reading and alarm is recorded via PrudeX smart communicator so the whole process can be tracked and reviewed remotely.
The result is pH held steadily within range — controlled and recorded automatically.

Rainwater → Boiler Feed Water. Automated 💧

We recently commissioned a 10 m³/hr rainwater harvesting system where 95% of treated water goes directly to boiler makeup.

The treatment train — sand filtration, activated carbon filtration, and precision filtration — selected and designed specifically for the project needs. A pH monitoring and control system keeps the chemistry in the right range for the boiler, automatically.

Flow and pH are tracked continuously through the PrudeX Remote Monitoring platform.
