යුග ගණනාවක අපේ ප්රෞඩත්වය, හෙළ සංස්කෘතියේ ස්වර සෞන්දර්යය සහ ජාතියක මානසිකත්වයට පණ පෙවූ අසහාය ගාන්ධර්වයාණන්, ගෞරවනීය විශාරද නන්දා මාලනියන්ගේ නික්ම යාම පිළිබඳව ගාල්ල සමුද්ර පුරාවිද්යා කෞතුකාගාර පවුල වෙනුවෙන් අපගේ හදපිරි ශෝකය සහ උපහාරය සටහන් කරමු.
මුහුද මෙන් ගැඹුරු වූත්, සාගර රළ මෙන් ප්රබල වූත් ඇගේ අමරණීය නාදය, දශක ගණනාවක් පුරා ලාංකේය ජනයාගේ ප්රීතිය, විරහව, මාතෘ ප්රේමය මෙන්ම ජාතික අභිමානයද එක්තැන් කළේය. කාලයේ වැලිතලාවට යටවී යන අනෙකුත් බොහෝ දේ අතර, ඇය මෙරට සංගීත ක්ෂේත්රය තුළ තැබූ ඒ අනුපමේය සලකුණ, අපගේ කෞතුකාගාර ශාලාවල සුරැකිව ඇති අපේම අතීත උරුමයන් මෙන්ම සදාතනිකවම අමරණීය වනු ඇත.

Her timeless voice—deep as the sea and powerful as the ocean waves—interwove the joy, sorrow, maternal love, and national pride of the Sri Lankan people for decades. Amidst many things that fade into the sands of time, the incomparable mark she left on the musical landscape of our country will remain truly immortal, much like the priceless historical heritage preserved within our museum halls.
