📌 Quarterly Income Tax Instalments – New IRD Guidance

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has released Circular No. SEC/2026/E/06 dated 03 August 2026, introducing guidance on the calculation of quarterly income tax instalments for the Year of Assessment 2026/2027.

🔹 The guidance is issued under Section 90 of the Inland Revenue Act, No. 24 of 2017
🔹 It incorporates amendments introduced through the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act, No. 11 of 2026
🔹 Taxpayers should review the applicable calculation method when determining their quarterly instalment obligations.

📅 Quarterly Instalment Due Dates

• 1st Instalment – 15 August
• 2nd Instalment – 15 November
• 3rd Instalment – 15 February
• 4th Instalment – 15 May
