Professional Business Coaches Association Business coaching takes a business from its current state to its desired future state. PBCA is an initiative of AusAid/ skills For inclusive growth ( S4IG).

It was established in 2022 with a view to promote, develop,nurture and protect the business coaching industry in Sri Lanka. It has engaged in multiple tasks such as producing new coaches, enhancing the skills of existing coaches and connecting them to MSME's for the development of MSME's which are accountable for 52% of the Gross Domestic Production ( GDP ) in the country. PBCA 's founder members are Ajith D Perera, Prof Sunil Chandrasiri, Prof Athula Ghanapala,Dr Prasad Jayasuriya and Kanthi Basnayake.
