ජපානයේ මාර්තු 3 දින සමරන ගැහැණු ළමයින්ගේ දිනය නැත්නම් Girls' Day / Dall's Day ලෙස හදුන්වන උත්සවය ගැන තමා මේ සටහන..

බොහෝ කාලයකට පෙර ජපානයේ මිනිසුන් විශ්වාස කළේ අසුභ බල, රෝග සහ අයහපත් ශක්ති මිනිසුන්ට බලපාන බවයි. ඒවා දුරු කරන්න ඔවුන් කඩදාසි බෝනික්කන් සකස් කර ඒවා තමන්ගේ අසුභය හා රෝගයන් තමන් වෙනුවෙන් ගෙන යන බව විශ්වාස කර ගඟට හෝ මුහුදට දමමින් ප්‍රාර්ථනා කළා.
මෙම සම්ප්‍රදාය “hina-nagashi” ලෙස හැඳින්වුණා.
කාලයත් සමඟ, බෝනික්කන් ගඟට දමන පුරුද්ද වෙනුවට, ලස්සන රජ ඇඳුම් ඇඳූ බෝනික්කන් නිවසේ ප්‍රදර්ශනය ඇරඹුවා. මේ බෝනික්කන් Heian යුගයේ සිටි අධිරාජ්‍යයා, අධිරාජිනිය ඇතුලු පිරිසක් නියෝජනය කරනවා වගේම එහි අර්ථයකුත් සහිතයි. එයින් ගැහැණු ළමයින් අසුභයෙන් ආරක්ෂා වී සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්නව, සතුටින් වර්ධනය වේවා යන ප්‍රාර්ථනාවක් ලෙස පැවැත්වුණා.

අද Hinamatsuri කියන්නේ දියණියන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව, සතුට සහ සුභ අනාගතය සඳහා කරන ජපානයේ සම්ප්‍රදායික උත්සවයක්.

Hinamatsuri (ひな祭り)🎎🎍

This note is about the festival celebrated in Japan on March 3, known as Girls’ Day or Doll’s Day, dedicated to the well-being and happiness of girls.

Long ago, people in Japan believed that evil spirits, illness, and misfortune could affect human life. To drive these away, they made paper dolls and set them afloat in rivers or the sea, believing the dolls would carry away bad luck and sickness on their behalf. This custom was known as hina-nagashi.

Over time, instead of sending the dolls away, people began displaying beautiful dolls dressed in royal court attire inside their homes. These dolls represent figures from the Heian period imperial court, including the Emperor and Empress, and they carry symbolic meaning. The display is meant as a prayer for girls to be protected from harm and to grow up healthy and happy.

Today, Hinamatsuri is a traditional Japanese celebration wishing for the safety, happiness, and bright future of daughters.
