SOLAR LOAN SCHEMES FOR LECO CONSUMERS

Lanka Electricity Company Limited(LECO) is introducing new solar loan schemes which will be offered only for LECO consumers where they can acquire loans up to Rs. 1, 000,000. These loans can be paid back through the consumer's LECO electricity bill without going through any inconveniences.

ABOUT THE LOAN

All the LECO domestic consumers whose present average monthly electricity bill exceeds Rs. 3000 limit or expect to be exceeded in the future will be eligible for this limited time facility. This scheme will be active for a limited time period of 6 months and funds will be provided only for the first 2000 customers.

This loan is for LECO consumers ONLY. (CEB consumers are not be eligible.)
Maximum loan amount = Rs. 1, 000,000 (1 Million)
Interest rate = 8%
No need of guarantors.
Payback period = 7 years through monthly LECO electricity bill.

පසුගිය සතියේ කැබිනට් මණ්ඩලය අනුමත කළ ව්‍යාපෘතියක් අනුව අපේ රටේ සියලු වහල මත සූර්ය බල පැනල සවිකිරීමේ වැඩපිළිවෙළක් ක්‍රියාවට නංවන බව විදුලිබල ඇමැති රංජිත් සියඹලාපිටිය මහතා පවසා තිබිණි. ඉදිරියේදී සවිකරන සූර්ය බල පැනල මඟින් ඒ ඒ නිවාසවල ජනතාවට තමන්ට අවශ්‍ය විදුලිය ලබාගෙන ඉතිරි විදුලිය විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලයට ලබාදී මුදල් ඉපයීමට ද පුළුවන. ‘සූර්ය බල සංග්‍රාමය’ ලෙස නම් කර ඇති මේ වැඩපිළිවෙළ යටතේ තමන්ට වැඩි විදුලිය විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලයට විකුණන විට එක් ඒකකයකට රුපියල් 15 – 23 අතර මුදලක් ලබාදීමට ද සැලසුම් කර තිබේ.රටේ ¾ කටම දවසේ පැය 10 – 11 ක් සූර්ය බලය ඇති අපේ රටේ සූර්ය බලය පිළිබඳව උනන්දුවීම කළ යුතුව තිබුණේ මීට දශක කීපයකට ‍පමණ පෙර සිටය. කෙසේ වුවත් දැන්වත් ඒ සඳහා රජයේ මැදිහත්වීමෙන් තිරසාර වැඩපිළිවෙළක් ක්‍රියාවට නැංවීම පැසසුම් සහගතය. මෙහි මූලික පියවරේදී පියසි ලක්ෂ 10ක් සූර්යබලයෙන් ආලෝකවත් කරනු ඇත. යෝජිත සූර්යබල සංග්‍රාමය යටතේ යම් පාරිභෝගිකයෙක් කිලෝවොට් 1ක සූර්ය පැනල තම වහලය උඩ සවි කර ග‍තහොත් ඔහුට විදුලි ඒකක 115 – 120 අතර ප්‍රමාණයක් මාසිකව ජනනය කරගත හැකිවේ. මාසික ආදාම 2750ක් පමණ වේ. අමාත්‍ය රංජිත් සියඹලාපිටිය පවසන පරිදි 2020 වන විට සූර්ය බලය මෙගා වොට් 200ක් නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීමට ද 2025 වනවිට මෙගා වොට් 1000ක් සූර්යබල විදුලිය නිපදවීමට ද අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ.
