Our Directors, Mr. Sudarshana Fernando and Ms. Osanthi Watawana, were delighted to participate in the ECU Vice-Chancellor Core Partner Breakfast held at the Courtyard by Marriott.

This event offered a valuable chance to engage with ECU's senior leadership, including Professor Clare Po***ck, Vice-Chancellor of Edith Cowan University, Mr. Jake Garman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor International, Mr. David Matthews, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sri Lanka, and academic representatives from various faculties. It was a tremendous pleasure to host Ms. Cecilia Sacoto-Patel, the Director of Marketing & Admission at Curtin College in Perth, at our Evergreen office. She was joined by Manavi Poornima, the Student Recruitment Manager for UPA โ€“ Sri Lanka, Navitas Pty Ltd.

During her brief visit to Melbourne, our Director, Ms. Osanthi Watawana, ensured she visit Deakin University alongside our Co-Founding Director, Ms. Sandareka Fernando.

During this visit, they had the chance to meet Jack Johnston, International Manager at Deakin University, and Ms. Danielle Shevlin, Senior Marketing and Admissions Manager at Deakin College, to discuss the current status of the international student program and explore ways to strengthen the relationship between Evergreen Education and Deakin.

The visit became even more engaging when a few Evergreen students unexpectedly crossed paths with Ms. Fernando and Ms. Watawana, even without prior notice. Thank you, students, for taking the time to stop by and say hello.

We extend our gratitude to Ms. Dionne Gregory, Country Director of Deakin International at the Sri Lanka Country Office, for organizing this meeting.
