Poorna Bandara- Director/GM at IFS talks about Future of ERP at Colombo MBA as a Guest Speaker.

The Guest Talk on PM ( WE 2015-2017 Class) at Colombo MBA was on the topic "Managing ERP Projects to harness Enterprise Operational Intelligence" was conducted by Poorna Bandara of IFS. Poorna Bandara is the General Manager/ Director Sales & Consulting South Asia of IFS, Country Head for IFS Pakistan Operation and Project Consultant for IFS Global Academy. He was recently appointed as the Chairman of National Council on ICT Skills Development and is passionately working towards preparing workforce for digital Sri Lanka.

Poorna Is an Engineer by profession from University of Peradeniya. He holds over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry which includes 7 years of experience in Singapore. He has handled ERP and related projects inSri Lanka, Singapore, Middle East, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Cambodia.Poorna heads IFS Sri Lanka consulting team which looks after 90 ERP implementations in the region.
Poorna discussed about the ERP implementation projects in SL, IFS work and the future of ERP. The MBAs were very interested and there were many questions and and a long discussion on the ideas shared. The class is grateful to Poorna for his future oriented valuable ideas and taking his free time during the weekend to share his thoughts with the MBAs.
