Agarapathana plantations Tea Window Later in 2001 the convertible debentures of Rs: 150,000,000 issued to Lankem plantation Holdings.

Agarapathana plantations Limited was incorporated on 22nd June 1992, under the companies Act No. 17 of 1982 in terms of the provisions of the conversation of corporations. Since its inception the company was managed by Creasy Plantation management Ltd, which originally submitted a bid to manage the company and was selected to do so until 1996. On 25th September 1996 Lankem Plantation Holdings Limited purchased 51% of the issued ordinary shares of Agarapathana plantations and became the holding company of Agarapatha plantations. As a result the share capital was increased and the Lankem plantation Holdings Limited ownership in Agarapathana plantations increased up to 61.88%.
