We are pleased to officially launch the PhD Program with Employment Integration at Shinawatra University, and sincerely invite your institution to recommend qualified and outstanding students for application.
I. Core Advantages of the Program
1. Tuition-free PhD Study: Students enroll as reserve faculty, and full tuition is waived in exchange for research service obligations.
2. Monthly Stipend during Study: A monthly stipend of 5,000 THB will be provided from enrollment until successful graduation.
3. Guaranteed Employment upon Graduation: After obtaining the doctoral degree, graduates will be employed as full-time faculty members. The university will handle and cover the costs of the Thai work visa and related residence procedures.
4. Formal Salary Package: Monthly salary of no less than 35,000 THB after graduation. Training costs will be deducted monthly as agreed, with no additional fees.
5. Stable Service Obligation: Graduates are required to work full-time at the university for at least 1 year.
II. Admission Requirements (Must Meet All)
1. Hold a master’s degree.
2. Have published at least 1 Scopus-indexed paper within the past 5 years. (Peer-reviewed journal articles of equivalent quality are also acceptable).
3. Volunteer to study as reserve faculty and comply with all training, research, and employment terms.
III. Key Requirements for PhD Study
1. Standard Duration: 3 years (extended if delayed due to personal reasons).
2. Research Obligation: Publish a total of 18 Scopus-indexed papers within 3 years, with at least 6 papers per year.
3. Expense Policy: Publication fees, peer-review fees, and other related costs shall be borne by students first; reimbursement is available after successful Scopus indexing per university policy.
4. Non-compliance Penalty: If annual or total publication requirements are not met, a compensation fee of 700 USD per missing paper shall be paid to cover training costs.
IV. Employment and Onboarding Rules
1. Students must complete onboarding and sign a formal labor contract within 30 days after receiving the doctoral degree.
2. Outstanding graduates may be appointed as full-time Scopus Publication Specialists or full-time lecturers.
3. Any unauthorized resignation before completing the 1-year service, or refusal to onboard without valid reasons, will be deemed a breach of contract and subject to corresponding liabilities.
