FROM CHALKBOARDS TO WHITEBOARDS!!

Driving Educational Modernization in B**g County.
Today, the Office of Representative James M. Kolleh as always, delivered a vital educational support package to the Lighthouse Assemblies of God (AG) High School in Gbarnga, Jorquelleh District #2. The donation included 10 whiteboards, 4 cartons of markers, and 1 carton of dusters, aimed at immediately enhancing the classroom environment.

During the handover ceremony, Rep. Kolleh articulated a progressive vision for the future of education across B**g County, emphasizing the critical need to transition away from traditional chalkboards.

"It is my hope that within the next year or two, every high school in B**g County will permanently retire the chalkboard and fully gravitate toward the use of whiteboards," Rep. Kolleh stated. "Modernizing our classrooms is not a luxury, it is a necessity for the health, clarity, and dignity of both our students and our educators. I call upon all local and national leaders to join hands with us in this essential campaign."

Elia James Cisco, the Student Council President of Lighthouse AG High School, received the items on behalf of the student body.
In his remarks, Cisco expressed deep appreciation to Representative Kolleh, noting that this gesture follows previous impactful contributions to the school, including the provision of multi-use cooling fans.

This latest initiative underscores Representative Kolleh’s unwavering commitment to building an educational infrastructure that prepares the youth of B**g County for a brighter, modern future.

Rep. James M. Kolleh Inspires Youth as Keynote Speaker at B**g County Students Symposium

GBARNGA, B**G COUNTY Today, Rep. James M. Kolleh, served as the Keynote Speaker at the B**g County Students Symposium, a flagship event organized by the B**g County High School Caucus.

The symposium brought together hundreds of students from various secondary institutions across the county to discuss leadership, academic excellence, the role of the youth in nation-building and other topics.

During his keynote address, Rep. Kolleh emphasized the importance of discipline and vision. He reminded the students that their current academic pursuits are the foundation upon which the future of B**g County—and Liberia at large—will be built.

"You are not just the leaders of tomorrow; you are the catalysts for change today," Rep. Kolleh stated.

The event highlights the strong, ongoing collaboration between the Office of Rep. Kolleh and the B**g County High School Caucus. Following the successful community cleanup campaigns in March and the recent "Who Owns Gbarnga Through Sports" tournament, this symposium marks another milestone in the Representative's mission to engage and empower the student population.
Rep. Kolleh commended the leadership of the High School Caucus for their initiative in organizing a platform that prioritizes intellectual discourse alongside extracurricular development.

The Representative concluded the session by reaffirming his support for all Schools in b**g county.

The Office of Rep. James M. Kolleh thanks the organizers, the school administrations, and, most importantly, the students for their vibrant participation in today’s historic symposium.

REP. JAMES M. KOLLEH ANSWER THE QUEST OF SUMO MOYE STUDENT'S COUNCIL PRESIDENT BY DONATING 24 PICS OF FANS

May 1, 2026

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a leader’s vision meets a student’s need. This morning, as the first rays of the May sun warmed B**g County, that magic took the form of twenty-four (24) durable Dua Functions hanging fans, delivered by the Office of Rep. James M. Kolleh to the Student's Council Leadership of Sumo Moye Memorial Institute.

Hon. Kolleh has always maintained that education is not just about textbooks and White-boards it is also about cooling these classrooms, he is ensuring that:
Reducing heat-related fatigue for both students and teachers in every school should be prioritize.
Creating a calm environment where the mind can wander into books, not toward the nearest window for air.

Proving to our children that their comfort and success are worth the investment. Leadership in Action
The atmosphere at the institute will be one of pure electricity. B**g County moves forward when leaders choose action over words.

Once the fans are installed and the first cool breeze began to circulate, we were reminded of the old proverb: “A society grows great when leaders plant trees whose shade they may never sit under.” Today, Hon. Kolleh didn't just plant a tree; he cleared the air for a whole new generation to breathe, learn, and lead.
"Investing in our children today is the only way to guarantee a prosperous nation tomorrow." Rep. James M. Kolleh

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

APRIL 30, 2026

PROMISES KEPT: JANJEA -DOUTA BRIDGE NEARS COMPLETION AS REP. JAMES M. KOLLEH DELIVERS ON VISION

JORQUELLEH DISTRICT #2,B**G COUNTY

But yesterday, April 29, 2026, that cycle of struggle officially entered its final chapter.

After decades, Citizens of B**G & GRAND BASSA are set to benefit JANJEA - DOUTA BRIDGE. The arrival of the rainy season was a recurring heartbreak—watching the rising waters sweep away their hand-built, temporary bridges, cutting them off from markets, schools, and the bustling trade of Gbarnga.

The Office of Hon. James M. Kolleh conducted a high-level site visit to the JANJEA-DOUTA Bridge project, and the report is one of overwhelming success: the bridge is NEARING COMPLETION.
Where there once stood SHAKY LOGS, TEMPORARY PLANKS & ROCKS, a modern, sturdy structure now nears the finish line. The sight of the steel and concrete rising above the water has sparked a wave of excitement throughout the region, serving as a physical testament to the "Developmental Agenda" championed by Rep. Kolleh.

This project isn't just about engineering; it’s about integrity. During the 2021 bye-election, Hon. Kolleh looked the people of JANJEA and DOUTA in the eyes and promised them a solution to their mobility crisis.
This project focused on lifting the burden of transport, ensuring that local farmers no longer have to watch their produce spoil because they couldn't cross the river.

The atmosphere during yesterday’s visit was electric. Local residents, who have spent years rebuilding the same bridge every dry season, stood by to witness the progress.
"He didn't just give us words; he gave us a way out," said one local elder. "Our children will cross this bridge to go to school without us fearing for their safety in the rain. This is what leadership looks like."

The Representative has remained firm in his stance that this bridge is for everyone ( LIBERIANS ). Regardless of political affiliation or past support, Hon. Kolleh continues to invite all citizens to "join hands" in the work of district-building. The JANJEA - DOUTA Bridge stands as a bridge in more ways than one linking communities together and bridging the gap between political promises and real-world results.

As the final touches are applied, the district prepares for a historic ribbon-cutting ceremony. The days of being stranded are over. District #2 is moving forward, and for the people of JANJEA and DOUTA & GRAND BASSA #2 the future has never looked more solid.
