✨ Year-End Good News | Closing 2025 on a High Note ✨

As we bring 2025 to a close, Gusceman is proud to announce the official completion of our Special Corporate Soft Skills Capacity-Building Program, successfully delivered in partnership with the Roberts Flight Information Region (RFIR).

📍 About the Program

The program was conducted from September 1 to October 21, 2025, and delivered in three structured batches to ensure effective learning, participation, and impact. RFIR, headquartered at Roberts International Airport, manages air-traffic services for Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. Recognizing that safe and efficient service delivery depends not only on technical expertise but also on strong human capital, RFIR invested in this targeted initiative to strengthen workplace effectiveness across its departments.

🎯 Program Focus

The training program focused on building critical professional and organizational competencies, including:
• Workplace Ethics
• Business Communication
• Team Building
• Performance Management
• Time Management
• English Proficiency – Level 4
• Filing, Document Management & Archiving
• Knowledge Management

These competencies are essential to improving productivity, accountability, collaboration, and overall institutional performance within a complex aviation operations environment.

We are pleased to confirm that the official issuance of certificates to all successful participants was conducted on December 15, 2025, formally marking the close of the program and recognizing the dedication and achievements of all trainees.

EEC Clean Cooking SMEs Business Development Training – Successfully Completed!

Over the past three months, Gusceman had the honor of implementing the EEC Clean Cooking SMEs Business Development Training, a comprehensive capacity-building program tailored to empower clean cooking enterprises across Liberia.

This initiative brought together passionate entrepreneurs dedicated to expanding access to clean, affordable, and sustainable cooking solutions for households and communities.

Through customized training modules, hands-on practical exercises, and targeted institutional improvement actions, each SME demonstrated remarkable growth, resilience, and a strong commitment to excellence.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of this cohort program, marking another significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to support renewable energy entrepreneurship and foster inclusive economic development.

Covering key areas, from Business Fundamentals, Marketing & Sales, to Business Operations and Process Improvement, participants acquired practical skills and tools that position them for long-term success in the clean cooking ecosystem.

Gusceman, Inc. is delighted to announce its selection as a subcontractor to provide Business Development Services (BDS) for Clean Cooking Renewable Energy businesses in Liberia. This initiative is part of our subcontract under NIRAS Group (UK) Ltd, contracted by the State of the Netherlands through the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, to implement the Energy Enterprise Coach (EEC) program.

Through this partnership, Gusceman, Inc. will deliver high-quality business support and capacity-building services designed to strengthen and transform renewable energy enterprises in Liberia’s clean cooking sector. We are excited to announce that Gusceman is the first partner organization in Liberia to host the UN-ILO Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) Training of Trainers (ToT) program. This collaboration underscores our dedication to empowering the entrepreneurial community in Liberia. The program will result in over 20 qualified trainers, drawn from Gusceman and its partners, including PSI, who will be equipped to serve entrepreneurs, businesses, and partners across the country. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Gusceman’s mission to enhance the business development ecosystem in Liberia.

The SIYB Training of Trainers event took place from June 25 to July 6, 2024, with 28 participants from Gusceman and its partners. Led by Dr. Njagi from Kenya, the training is part of a nine-month program, and we are currently seven months into it, with three months remaining. The training has been enriching and impactful, and we are confident that the knowledge and skills gained will have a long-term effect on Liberia’s entrepreneurial landscape. Gusceman is proud to be the key host in this endeavor and looks forward to the positive outcomes that will result from this initiative.

As the program nears completion, we are excited to share that the first cohort of trainers will achieve full certification by early 2025. This will significantly impact Liberia’s business development, equipping future entrepreneurs with the critical skills they need to succeed.
