Starting October with Purpose and Gratitude 🙏🏽

This month, I’m incredibly blessed to launch three impactful entrepreneurship programs. Through the Empowerment Squared HOPE Program, I’ll be working with high school students, helping them tap into their entrepreneurial potential. With the US Embassy’s Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, I’ll be supporting incredible Liberian women on their entrepreneurial journey. And through the Push for Prosperity PIPE Program, I’ll be working with immigrants and people of color in Minnesota, helping them build and grow their businesses.

When you operate in your purpose, doors open in ways you never imagined. I am beyond grateful for these opportunities and for the trust placed in me to guide others. Let’s make this a month of growth, empowerment, and purpose.

Say hello to the Liberia Chamber of Commerce's newest Executive Council Member. I look forward to serving the Liberian Business Community for the next two years.

Instead of complaining about all the problems with doing business in Liberia, I have decided to be a part of the solution. I, along with my fellow council members, have some great plans for the Chamber of commerce, and we can't wait to share them with you all.

Hey y'all its been a minute...I realized I haven't posted anything in like 5 months 😬. The truth is, it became exhausting. I was using this page primarily for my business coaching, and creating content is just not my jam...the grid, the hashtags, the captions, all that stuff became overwhelming.

Besides that, I do so many things, and I want to share it all 🤗. So I'm back, with no plan, just free styling this social media thing sharing my life in LIB and all the adventures that come along with it.

Today The Vantage Group signed a partnership agreement with Mercy Corps Liberia to manage the business accelerator component of its Liberia Employment and Entrepreneurship project.

Under this program, we will coach 25 Liberian businesses who will also receive business grants up to $15k per business. We are super excited with for another partnership that will further our vision to help Liberian-owned enterprises to thrive and not just survive.

Might I add that this project was conceptualized and will be managed by some amazing Liberian women 😜

Good Morning from .lib This what my weekend is looking like.

Many of you may not know...but a few months ago, some friends and I started The Flower Pot, a floral and landscaping company. What began as an idea due to my frustration in not finding the plants I wanted while landscaping my yard has blossomed into a lucrative business. Let me tell you how it happened...

I’m an undercover creative. I love to design things and create beautiful spaces. I started getting into plants and flowers as I worked on the landscape design for my yard when I realized there was an opportunity there. There was nowhere that someone could quickly get potted plants or fresh flowers in Liberia without knowing someone who knows someone, and that’s how The Flower Pot was born.

Long story short, we launched the business just a few short weeks later with a couple of hundred dollars, making over $1000.00 sales on our first day only from a 3-hour pop-up shop in the parking lot of Era Supermarket. We 5x our investment in just three hours. Not bad for a side hustle, right?

So here we are four months later...we have outgrown our humble beginnings in our little workshop and now have to scale into a full-time operation. Won’t he do it 🙌🏾.

I’m sharing this story with you because when I tell you, I can show you how to turn your idea into a side hustle in less than a month. I’m speaking from experience!
