Official Unification Day's Message

Ideological Comrades and Militants of the People's Revolution, we bring you revolutionary greetings.

As we all may be informed, Today is being Observed as National Unification Day in Liberia. The essence of this day is to unite the people of this Country.

However, Government of the Day has failed to do much to reconcile our people after years of Brutal civil unrest which led to the Deaths of about 250,000 Liberians. Moreover, there are People who became physically disabled during the civil war. Sadly, these people are living abject proverty due to the inability of Government to take care of them. These are some of the issues we are faced with as people of this Country.

Every sector of our Country is divided. Howwbeit, we still continue to witness the observance of May 14 every year as Unification Day.

In observance of this year's Unification Day, we call on every ideological men and women to mourn with those who are direct and indirect victims of the civil War. We therefore join our voice to the many voices calling for the establishment of war and economic crimes Court. Let it be made clear that there can't be genuine peace in the absence of War and Economic crimes Court.

May God protect us all!

2R-M Congress Commends the lower house for passing into law the National Equity Act, Calls on the upper house to Concurr with the lower House, Calls on the National Elections Commission to Announce the Referendum results, calls on the Supreme Court to finally render Jurisdiction in the Case involving Botoe Kanneh and Alfred Kiawood, and Frowns on Unknown Elements for bombing Private and public properties in the Country.

Comrades, Revolutionary icons,sons and daughters of Market Women, struggling students, Media practitioners, the Mass based 2R-M Congress brings you Warmest Greetings from its headquarters in Monrovia, the Bulwark of intellectual Consciouness and rational thinking.

We are sincere to use this medium to commend the Lower house for passing into Law the National Equity Act. We see this as timely. This act will help to alleviate the Disparity gap between the Majority Elites with University Degrees and the underprivileged Masses. As history informs us, Sons and daughters of Native Liberians were denied Matriculation at the University of Liberia due to discrimination. During that era,a yarkpawolo was not allow to enroll at the University of Liberia. This National Equity act is not not only a Victory for the Masses,but also the entire Country. Sons and daughters of the plebians who could not afford will now be able to acquire higher education at a lower under every sitting President.

Meanwhile,we also call on the Upper house to concurr with the lower House for the passage of such Act. This should not be about political affiliations,or self gratification. It's about the vast majority of the Citizens who are living on less than a dollar per day,as such every member of the Senate should ensure that such Act is pass into law. There is no need to tarry the act.

We also want to take this time to call on the National Elections Commission to speedily announce the Referendum results. It can be recalled that since the December 08 Elections,NEC has failed to Announce the Referendum results in line with the Election laws of our Country. This persistent delay of the Referendum results has the proclivity to undermine the credibility of the National Elections Commission as well as the accuracy of the results. In this regard, the Redemption and Reconstruction of the Masses Congress is calling on the Electoral Body to speedily announce the results.

Furthermore,we are also calling on the Supreme Court to speedily investigate the Election disputes between CDC Alfred Kiawood and independent Candidate Botoe Kanneh. Like other Counties, the people of Bopolu County must be fully represented in the House of Senate.

Our Attention has also been to the recent destruction of the Home of Justice Nagbe and The Headquarters of the National Elections Commission (NEC) by Unknown Individuals. These evil acts have the proclivity to cause instability in the Country. There are better ways for settling disenchantments. Therefore, we call on the necessary Authorities and bring the perpetrators to spotlight.

During his life time, he was intimidated, harassed, and declared unfavorable species because he used to clandestinely conduct marriages in his home when it was prohibated to marry at the time..... He did it in adherence to the tradition of the religion he practiced. For this, he got killed. Valentine's death shocked millions worldwide when it was announced.

In a way to recognize his efforts and meaningful contributions to society through LOVE, today February 14 is set aside for such purpose.

As persons around the world celebrate and take their VAL to marvelous places or on bountiful tours, we wish to FELICITATE each and every member of our Congress and our fellow Liberians in general a HAPPY WONDERFUL VALENTINE'S DAY

From the leadership of the CONGRESS

The Redemption and Reconstruction of the Masses Congress popularly known as 2R-M Congress ceased this flow point to wish all Liberians home and abroad, advocates, activists, revolutionists, and emancipators a happy prosperous New Year (2021).

The year 2020 which marked the second year since our establishment in October of 2019 as a pressure and advocate based institution went through with enormous achievements and contributions made on our part as a Civil Society Group. We were able to stand firm and unravel against ills identified by us in government and private sectors for Liberia encompasses the two broad spheres and spoke vehemently against them.

We did series of Press-releases which spoke against disregard for the rule of law, Gross violation of human rights as well as massive corruption in country. Those releases helped to bring relief to Liberians home and abroad. Through our press releases, lot of unwholesome acts by key officials of Government were uncovered.
Moreover, many of them have yielded positive results. These include, but not limited to the following: The Condemnation of legislators for bagging thousand of United States Dollars in the name of operation benefits during the heat of the pandemic and The Condemnation of Hon. Dixon Seboe for the unlwaful incaceration of Belvina Brooks.

As a newly established Civil Society group, the year was very tough for us. There were lots of challenges including lack of adequate funds for the smooth running of the institution, threats on our lives as Civil Right Activists, lack of sufficient members, etc. Inspite of these challenges, we managed to leave positive fingerprints on the walls of Activism.

Today is the Natal Day of my COMPEER(Richmond P. Wleh)

Birthdays come and Go, but the memory lives in our hearts. Today is another unique day, and so its memories are special, unique and Awesome. The Memory of this day shall be preserved in a special part of my heart. It shall be kept in the sacred part of our Archives.

Joining the World to commemorate your Natality is that which I am proud of. You're a beacon of hope and a scholastic icon. Your prowess is unique. Great people deserve great memories, as such we shall preserve the memories of this day through a state of the Art process.

It is often said that Great people are born in October, and this is no joke. I have had the opportunities to interact with some of those great icons of October. The beautiful thing about this is that great people were born on each of the days in October ( 1st- 31lst). Because of limited space, I can't list everyone. I have had the opportunity to interact with the likes of Jimmy Carter (October 1,1924),39th president of the USA, Ram Nath Kovind( October 1,1945) 14th president of India, Mahatma Gandhi ( October 2,1869) Leader of India independence Movement, Roberto Firmino( October 2,1991), Brazilian Footballer.

On October 25, Great people including Richmond P. Wleh Pablo Picasso( October 25,1881),were born. All those great individuals that I met, they told me one thing that I will never Forget: "LEGENDS ARE BORN IN OCTOBER".

LEGEND, As you celebrate your Natality, I pray that the Almighty Deity continues to increase you in WISDOM. Enjoy your day, COMPEER.

As the suspended Secretary General of the 2R-M Congress, I join my pen with the many powerful pens to WISH YOU HAPPY NATALITY.
