Fundaye community moves to a pick high where all its dwellers can make decisions.
22nd August 2021(Sunday) Fundaye Community dwellers emerged in the FAITH IN CHRIST CHURCH to exchange ideas and make a thoughtful formulated decision and to also be updated about the status of the community.
The assembly was a fruitful one and full of Kempt discussion.

Over 15youths encompassing females and males from the three blocs of the community participated in the career building training of DEFENSE FOR CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL (DCI). The participants put Fundaye community on the map as the community top the first position among others. Just the proud of Fundaye community.
A batch of energetic youth from across the community are now attending the CHRIST EMBASSY CHURCH vocational training intiative. The program life span is about six months. Through the leadership, our brothers are acquiring vocational knowledge in the following fields: carpentry, masonry (construction), electricity, plumbing.
The leadership of the community is planning something heavy for the community youth center. Please be in the know, perhaps you have a willing hand to stretch to that building(youth center) construction.
The community participated in the two tournaments with unity and a strategy of having even the smaller ones involved. That's the reason you see our team was dominated by youth.The girls of Fundaye community did their best in the just ended District tournament but was defeated by their friendly community (karpeh street). Bravo to our girls!
In an effort to cease and play down the cessation to arm robbery, highjacking, and night patrol of criminals in Fundaye community, the leadership through its official spoke person Madam. Patricia Weah, chairlady brings about the necessity of community night security (watch team) so as to protect the community from all those criminalistic happenings during the course of the night. This though came as a result of arm robbers visiting our community recently taken away some values of two residents of the community.
Publicizing the watch team, a fellow Mr. Benedict Seequeh by name, who is currently working with the Borough taskforce, was appointed as commander of the team.
In order to maintain the status and harmony with the law, the community called on the Liberian national police through its zone 1 deport commander CO-1 and other night securing organizations. Such as KAPAO, among others. The CO-1 gave his consent to the community called but was not fortunate to be with the community in this meeting as a result of national duty. In a phonecall, he promised to be with us soon to give all necessary information about community policing.

The dwellers of Fundaye community in a processional discussion express interest in the decision and even give assurance to work with the leadership in its maintenance. Suggestions were made by our elders and grandmothers on how to compensate those that volunteer to render their service to the community. A compensation of little that will enable the watch team members to wash their clothes and get other needed equipments.
Suggestions!
A kind hearted and astute personality, Siafa Sambullah by name who is residing in Bloc B, suggested that each house should pay the amount of 5USD after every two months.
Continuing the suggestions, Kia Wolo, a youthful personality of the community suggested that 5LD should be paid by every room per day.
Extending the suggestions, the head of all the women in Bloc C, shonie Bolue suggested that 20LD should be paid every week as a means of supporting the watch team.
In continuation of the process, a grand mother who is residing in Bloc B, Elizabeth by name suggested that each of the houses should pay 50LD every week to support the watch team.
Closing the process of suggestions, Mr. S. Frederick Settro who is currently the sport director of the community recommended that each house should pay 100LD every month and additionally stated that any one wishes to extend helping hands to the watch team by your own volition, you can do that.
The chair lady consider all the suggestions and thanked the community for their efforts to support the watch team. Taking those suggestions into election, 50LD every week that was recommended by ma Elizabeth, was the favorite suggestion.
The chair lady presented a code of conduct to the community after explaining about the constitution and vowed to make this code of conduct copious for distribution to all Bloc leaders it can be reviewed by all the residents in each bloc for final and general acceptance as we await the establishment of the community constitution sooner.
