PRESS RELEASE�For Immediate Release�Updated Timeline for “Innovating for Change” Hackathon on Adolescent SRHR:
Monrovia, Liberia – September 8, 2025 – The organizers of the Innovating for Change Hackathon, in collaboration with UNFPA Liberia, announce an updated timeline for the youth-centered innovation challenge focused on advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for adolescents. The hackathon, designed to empower young innovators, will now run from September 4 to October 25, 2025, due to new level of Stakeholders Engagement.
To ensure broader inclusivity, the Call for Proposals has shifted from a closed to an open call, inviting young innovators across Liberia to participate. Target Audience: The hackathon will target, Adolescents and Youth (10-35 years old). Students, recent graduates, Students in high school and young professionals with backgrounds in technology, computer science, engineering, design, public health, and entrepreneurship.
