Our very own Tlotliso Kotsoro proudly represented herself and Shining Stars Modeling Agency during Career Day at Tholoana Bophelo English Medium School.

Wearing her SSMA Miss Valentine 2026 sash with pride, Tlotliso showed confidence, leadership, and passion as she delivered a powerful speech about her journey. In her speech, she explained who she is, what she stands for, and how modeling has helped shape her dreams and ambitions.

As she prepares to represent not only her country but also her school on the Miss Born A Star Africa stage, Tlotliso continues to inspire other young people to believe in themselves and pursue their goals fearlessly.

My name is Tlotliso Kotsoro. Before I became a model, I was just a young person with big dreams. I was someone who loved music and dancing. Like many young people, I had fears and moments where I doubted myself, but deep inside, I always knew I wanted to become something greater.

I first heard about modeling through my sister and by seeing her express herself confidently. What attracted me the most was not only the fashion and pictures, but also the confidence, discipline, and self-expression that come with modeling.

What inspired me to join Shining Stars Modeling Agency was the vision and support it gives to young people. It is more than just an agency — it is a place where dreams are nurtured and talents are discovered.

Modeling has changed my life in many ways. It has taught me discipline, confidence, responsibility, and how to believe in myself even during difficult moments.

To someone who is still where I once was, I would say: Believe in yourself, trust your journey, and never stop chasing your dreams because greatness begins with believing that you can.

Meet our beautiful Star Girl Face of Shining Stars, Thabisang Angelina Makoae from Khubetsoana.

At only five years old, Thabisang continues to shine with confidence, happiness, and a love for fashion that inspires many young children.

She says her favorite thing about modeling is wearing pretty dresses, twirling, and feeling like the princess she is. Walking on the runway makes her happy because people smile, clap for her, and encourage her.

Thabisang joined Shining Stars Modeling Agency after her mommy discovered the agency online and encouraged her to try modeling. Since joining SSMA, she says she has learned not to be shy anymore and now walks tall with confidence and a smile.

When she is not modeling, Thabisang enjoys reading, writing, and taking pictures with her mommy.

Her biggest dream is to become “the most shining star all over the world” and walk on big stages like a princess.

Her message to other young children is:
“Be yourself and be kind to everyone. That’s what makes you pretty inside and outside. Modeling is fun, it’s like playing dress up.”

We are proud to watch Thabisang grow into a confident young star and we look forward to seeing her continue shining brighter every day.

Meet Liako Letsie, one of the newest young models to join Shining Stars Modeling Agency.

Originally from Thaba-Tseka and currently based in Tsoapo-le-Bolila, Maseru, Liako is a passionate young model who believes in fashion, creativity, confidence, and self-development.

She discovered SSMA through social media and was inspired to join modeling because it allows people to express their uniqueness and creativity while building confidence.

Although she admits she was nervous during her first rehearsals, Liako says the environment at SSMA was welcoming, enjoyable, and motivating. Since joining the agency, she has become more excited about learning, growing, and improving her skills.

What Liako loves most about modeling is the confidence, discipline, and self-expression that come with it. She also enjoys learning new skills and challenging herself to grow.

Her dream is to become a successful and inspiring model, work with different brands, and motivate young girls to believe in themselves and chase their dreams fearlessly.

Liako believes many young people struggle with fear, self-doubt, and pressure from society, but she encourages everyone to stay true to themselves and never give up.

Her message to young dreamers:
“Believe in yourself, stay confident, and never let fear stop you from chasing your dreams. Everyone starts somewhere, and growth takes time.”

Today we proudly celebrate one of our inspiring models, Paballo Tau — a young talent whose journey continues to shine through confidence, discipline, and determination.

Paballo describes modeling as more than just posing for photos. To her, it is a powerful form of storytelling, self-expression, and confidence. Her journey began in 2023 after attending her first pageant at Holy Spirit, encouraged by her mother to step into the modeling world. That experience sparked a passion that continues to grow stronger every day.

Joining Shining Stars Modeling Agency became an important step in her growth because she wanted an environment that values professionalism, discipline, and personal development. Through SSMA, she has developed both personally and professionally, becoming more confident, focused, and dedicated to her craft.

One of her most unforgettable moments was walking at the Miss Mosepele Foundation Pageant, where the excitement of the live audience and the energy of the runway reminded her why she fell in love with modeling.

Like many models, Paballo has faced challenges such as rejection and self-doubt, but she continues to rise by focusing on preparation, attitude, and growth. Her calm presence, authenticity, and passion are what make her stand out both on and off the runway.

Inspired by Refiloe Makoae, Miss Cosmo Lesotho, Paballo admires how beauty can be used to create positive impact in society. She dreams of building her own personal brand, growing in editorial and pageantry work, focusing on her studies, and eventually mentoring upcoming talent in the modeling industry.

Outside modeling, she enjoys reading and taekwondo, activities that help her stay balanced and energized.

It focuses on still photography, clear posing, facial expression, and the ability to represent a product or brand in a strong and visually appealing way. A print model must know how to pose naturally while delivering a powerful image that communicates a message.
