๐‹๐„๐‚, ๐‹๐„๐–๐€ Stakeholder Engagement ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ

September 03, 2026- LEC continues the national educational meetingsโ€™ program in Butha-Buthe allied with WASCO under the supervision of the regulating body LEWA, to further unify the two bodies as essential services providers, addressing current hurdles, maneuvering through current difficulties while upscaling for better service delivery and timely sense of urgency.

Present at the meeting were business and community leaders representing a broader audience of their sectors. The main highlight deepened on understanding the mandate of LEWA, electricity and water efficient use,guidelines and authoritative channels to report complaints.

Not leaving behind major issues such as: tenancy, billing and metering concerns, policing electrical and elementary infrastructure left in care of the public as primary users. For instance, policing elementary infrastructure may include reporting vandalism and patrolling to watch over any suspicious mannerisms.
The discussions proved informative, thus, resulting in an efficacious meeting at which, beyond knowledge, understanding was added.
