πŸŽ“πŸŽ‰ DOUBLE THE ACHIEVEMENT, DOUBLE THE CELEBRATION! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ“

Another proud moment for the Russell Bedford Lesotho family and this time, we have TWO reasons to celebrate! πŸ’™πŸ‘

Today, we are celebrating two of our very own, Mahlape Mokhoele and Rethabile Tshuma, as they reach an incredible milestone in their professional journeys, graduating as Chartered Accountants (CA) from the Centre for Accounting Studies (CAS)! πŸŽ“πŸ₯³

Mahlape and Rethabile, today is more than just a graduation. It is a celebration of determination, discipline, resilience and the countless hours of hard work that have brought you to this remarkable achievement.

We know that the journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant is no walk in the park! Between demanding studies, professional responsibilities, tight deadlines and life's many commitments, it takes extraordinary dedication to make it to the finish line. And you both did it! πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ“š

At Russell Bedford Lesotho, we believe that our greatest asset is not found on our balance sheet, it is our people! ❀️

Your achievements are powerful reminders that when talent meets determination, and ambition is supported by the right environment, remarkable things happen.

As a firm, we remain committed to nurturing talent, supporting professional development and investing in the next generation of accounting professionals who will shape the future of our profession in Lesotho and beyond. 🌍

Mahlape and Rethabile, as you turn this exciting new page, may your careers continue to be filled with opportunities, growth, professional excellence and even greater achievements.

The qualification is a milestone, but the impact you will make with it is the real legacy!

And remember, while we may spend our days auditing numbers, today we have audited the results and can confirm that both of you have delivered an outstanding performance! An unmodified opinion, with absolutely no qualifications! πŸ˜„πŸŽ‰

From all of us at Russell Bedford Lesotho, CONGRATULATIONS, MAHLAPE AND RETHABILE πŸ₯‚πŸŽ“

Keep rising, keep inspiring and keep making us proud! πŸ’™

Your success is our pride. Your growth is our strength. Together, we achieve more!

Strengthening Collaboration, Advancing Audit Quality! πŸ‡±πŸ‡ΈπŸ€

At Russell Bedford Lesotho, we believe that audit quality is not merely a professional obligation, it is a shared responsibility and a cornerstone of public accountability and transparency.

We were delighted to participate in the stakeholder engagement hosted by the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) on 13 October 2026, under the theme β€œEnhancing Collaboration in Pursuit of Accountability and Transparency.”

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Auditor-General and the entire OAG team for organising such an insightful, interactive and productive engagement.

The discussions on strengthening audit service delivery, comprehensive audits, professional standards and future collaboration resonated strongly with our firm's commitment to continuous improvement, audit excellence and the protection of public interest.

We were particularly encouraged by the OAG's openness to stakeholder perspectives and its determination to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of public sector audits.

As Russell Bedford Lesotho, we reaffirm our full support for the Auditor-General's audit quality-focused initiatives. We believe that meaningful collaboration between the OAG, private audit firms and professional bodies such as the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) is essential to building public confidence, strengthening accountability and elevating the auditing profession in Lesotho.

We look forward to continued dialogue, stronger partnerships and future engagements that translate these important discussions into tangible improvements in audit quality and public sector accountability.

When we collaborate for quality, accountability wins, and so does Lesotho! πŸ‡±πŸ‡Έ

πŸ†πŸ˜„ Happy Friday, folks!

It has officially been 7 days since our RBL ladies lifted the Corporate Challenge trophy… and, as expected, the rest of us are beginning to realise that we may never hear the end of it! πŸ˜‚

The champions are still smiling, the bragging rights are still very much alive, and somehow that trophy seems to find its way into every conversation. We can’t even complain, they earned it! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ†

So, in the interest of keeping our winning ladies happy, motivated and sufficiently pumped up, here’s another round of applause for them. Cheers to our champions one more time! πŸ₯‚πŸ’™

There is, however, a small administrative matter developing at RBL…

Our Corporate Challenge trophy cabinet is starting to look a little too small. At this rate, we may have to visit the carpenter very soon. πŸ˜„πŸ”¨

A good problem to have, and one we can only thank our team’s hard work, determination and competitive spirit for creating.

To our ladies, enjoy the bragging rights. You have earned them.
To the rest of Team RBL, perhaps it is time to start training for the next one! πŸ˜„

Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend from all of us at Russell Bedford Lesotho! πŸ’™

πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚οΈ The post may be late… but these heroes definitely weren’t! πŸ˜„πŸ‘

We owe a very special shout-out to a group of RBL unsung heroes who somehow decided that one demanding event in a weekend simply wasn’t enough!

On 2 October, they had already taken on the Corporate Challenge. Then, while some of us were probably still negotiating with our muscles the following morning, these brave souls were up again on 3 October, facing the famous Thaba Bosiu morning chill to take part in the Minet Marathon. πŸ₯ΆπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚️

Apparently, β€œrest and recovery” was merely a suggestion! πŸ˜‚

A huge salute to:
1. Nts’ebo Letsie
2. Likhabiso Letsie
3. Lineo Mokhachane
4. Kabelo Maanela
5. Mahlape Mokhoele
6. Mohlakala Nono
7. Leeto Ts’ehla
8. Lehlohonolo Ramakau

After a gruelling Corporate Challenge, they still found the energy, courage and determination to lace up again and keep the Russell Bedford Lesotho flag flying high.

That takes more than fitness. It takes resilience, discipline, team spirit… and possibly a slightly unusual relationship with pain! πŸ˜„

We may have been a little late in giving you the recognition you deserve, but your effort certainly did not go unnoticed. You represented the RBL spirit brilliantly, showing up, pushing through and going the extra mile… quite literally.

To our Minet Marathon crew, we see you, we appreciate you, and we are incredibly proud of you. πŸ‘πŸ’™

You are our true weekend warriors, and proof that at Russell Bedford Lesotho, β€œtaking you further” is sometimes taken very literally! πŸ˜‚πŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

πŸ†πŸ’™ Champions! What a day for Team RBL! πŸ’™πŸ†

A huge congratulations to our Russell Bedford Lesotho ladies team for bringing home the 1st Prize Female trophy at the Corporate Challenge! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

What an outstanding achievement and a proud moment for the entire RBL family. Our ladies showed determination, resilience, teamwork and plenty of fighting spirit from start to finish and they have the trophy to prove it! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ†

But this victory belongs to more than just the team on the course. A special thank you to the entire Russell Bedford Lesotho team who came out to participate, cheer, encourage and support one another throughout the day. That team spirit is what made the occasion even more special.

We started the day saying that everyone would be a winner and we meant it. Today was a celebration of wellness, teamwork, friendship and showing up for one another. The trophy is a wonderful bonus! πŸ˜„

To our champion ladies, you have made us extremely proud. Congratulations! πŸŽ‰

And to the whole RBL team, thank you for flying the flag high and showing that we can deliver both in the office and on the obstacle course! πŸ˜„

Russell Bedford Lesotho β€” taking you further… and apparently all the way to the winners’ podium! πŸ†

πŸ”₯πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Corporate Challenge Day β€” and Team RBL came ready! πŸ’™

Today, our three Russell Bedford Lesotho teams came out guns blazing, ready to take on the Corporate Challenge with energy, determination and plenty of team spirit!

And they certainly didn’t do it alone. Our colleagues were right there on the sidelines cheering, encouraging and making sure the Russell Bedford spirit was felt every step of the way. πŸ™ŒπŸ‘

Yes, there may be several teams competing, and there will definitely be a little friendly rivalry πŸ˜„, but today is about much more than who crosses the line first.

It is about wellness, teamwork, resilience, camaraderie and showing up for one another.

By the end of the day, everyone will be a winner, because getting out there, challenging ourselves, supporting our colleagues and having fun together is already a victory. πŸ’ͺ

Today, we are testing endurance instead of balances! πŸ˜„

Well done to our Teams, and a big thank you to the RBL colleagues who came out to support them.

Here are a few highlights from an energetic day of teamwork, wellness and a little healthy competition! πŸ“Έ

Russell Bedford Lesotho β€” taking you further… one challenge at a time.

πŸŽ“ Congratulations, Thabiso Mpopo! πŸŽ‰

The entire Russell Bedford Lesotho team proudly congratulates our IT Specialist, Thabiso Mpopo, on graduating from the National University of Lesotho on 30 September 2026.

This is an important milestone in Thabiso’s personal and professional journey, and we are delighted to celebrate this achievement with him.

The audit profession is changing rapidly. Today’s audits are no longer confined to ledgers, invoices and physical files. Businesses increasingly depend on ERP systems, cloud platforms, automated processes, digital payments and large volumes of electronic data. As a result, the role of IT specialists in audit engagements has become increasingly important.

IT specialists like Thabiso help audit teams better understand and assess areas such as IT general controls, user access and security, automated controls, data integrity, cybersecurity risks and the reliability of information generated by client systems.

As technology continues to transform how businesses operate, audit teams must also evolve. Having strong IT capability within our team strengthens our multidisciplinary approach and supports our commitment to delivering high-quality, technology enabled audits that respond to the risks of today’s business environment.

πŸ‘ Congratulations once again, Thabiso Mpopo, on this well-deserved achievement. We are proud to have you as part of the Russell Bedford Lesotho team and look forward to seeing you continue to grow, contribute and bring your expertise to the audits of tomorrow.

At Russell Bedford Lesotho, we believe that investing in our people is an investment in the quality and future of our profession.

πŸŽ“πŸ’»πŸ“Š The future of audit is increasingly digital and we are proud to have professionals like Thabiso helping us embrace that future.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Three teams. One challenge. One Russell Bedford Lesotho spirit! πŸ’™

This year, Russell Bedford Lesotho is taking on the Corporate Challenge with three teams ready to put the spreadsheets aside, lace up, get a little muddy and prove that our stamina extends beyond audit deadlines! πŸ˜„

For us, wellness is more than an occasional activity. We believe that a strong organisation starts with healthy, energised and connected people. Taking time to move, laugh, compete and support one another helps build the resilience and teamwork that we carry back into the workplace.

Team A, Team B and Team C, the challenge is officially on! πŸ’ͺ
There may be obstacles, water and a little mud along the way… but fortunately, auditors are already trained to navigate challenging terrain! πŸ˜‚

And yes, we will be watching the results closely, sufficient appropriate evidence will be required before any team claims bragging rights! πŸ˜„

Here’s to wellness, teamwork, healthy competition and having some fun together.

Russell Bedford Lesotho β€” taking you further… even through the mud! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¦πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
