Letšeng Diamonds facilitated the first 2025 community engagement forum at Pae-la-Itlhatsoa village on Thursday, 15 May 2025.
These engagement forums serve as a platform for open dialogue between Letšeng and its neighbouring communities, allowing for constructive discussions about any challenges, opportunities, and relationship issues that may exist between the mine and the local villages.
The forum brought together community members, local leaders, and Letšeng representatives in a spirit of collaboration and mutual understanding, to jointly work on topical issues with the aim to promote the sustainability of our operations as well as the that of the surrounding communities.
During the forum, participants shared insights on various topics, including local employment opportunities, infrastructure development, livelihood projects, and environmental matters.
Fostering strong relationships with neighboring villages is a corporate social responsibility imperative, and Letšeng is committed to hosting these forums three times per year.
