Meet Tomas Leonavičius - our passionate Front-End developer!
Tomas' journey as a developer began with a love for gaming at age 5, which naturally led him to coding through game modifications. By 15, this curiosity blossomed when he met Edvinas Matulaitis, a backend developer at Adapt Lithuania. Inspired by Edvinas, later Tomas turned his passion into a career choice, joining Adapt's team nearly three years ago as a front-end developer.
Now, Tomas finds satisfaction in solving the little details while making small changes: even something as simple as adjusting a button colour can notably enhance the entire website's look and feel.
“Trying to find the most efficient approach to a problem with the most simple methods is a real dopamine hit!”
Even though Tomas works primarily with Adapt Agency, USA business unit, involving timezone and culture differences, he views this positively: the workflow is focused and uninterrupted during his day, with meetings scheduled at the end, keeping information fresh in his mind. When faced with challenges during his working hours, he relies on the support of his Adapt LT colleagues in Lithuanian offices.
We are proud to share that Tomas leads weekly developer meetings. Given the outgoing nature of Tomas, he didn’t shy away from carrying this flag. His collaborative, and sociable personality filled these shoes perfectly.
Enriching the team’s collective knowledge sharing keeps them updated on the latest industry trends and advancements, especially the shift towards AI, which Tomas sees as a helpful tool rather than a human replacement.
The knowledge-sharing sessions topics are ranging from mental health discussions led by third-party speakers to deep dives into SEO, analytics, and tracking by other business unit’s guests. These sessions have also included numerous AI discussions, demos, bug showcases, and problem-solving discussions, enriching the team's collective knowledge.
Tomas believes in the importance of collaboration for self-improvement and resource sharing. It ensures that team members can leverage each other's strengths, significantly boosting sprint efficiency.
A unique twist - since outside of work Tomas is growing his passion for gaming that extends beyond leisure, he’s even developing a User Interface plugin for World of Warcraft!
The Adapt team appreciates Tomas’ contributions over the past three years, marked by passion, collaboration, and growth, making him a valued team member.
Feel free to connect with Tomas Leonavičius and the Adapt LT team to learn more about their innovative work and inspiring journey! 🚀
