On April 25th, the 22nd Annual Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) Conference commenced at the European Solidarity Center, a location of profound historical significance in Poland. This inaugural day, aptly titled the "Day of Inspiration," set a dynamic tone with a series of thought-provoking keynotes and interactive sessions designed to ignite new ideas and encourage innovative thinking.

The last day of the 20th Annual BMDA Conference

This yeas the 20th Annual Conference brought together close to 90 participants from14 Countries: USA, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Check republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, France, United Kingdom, Finland, The Netherlands.


The third Conference day was dedicated for Business schools’ perspectives. The day was opened by inspiring keynote speech by dr. Rolf Alter Changing Mindsets For a Radical Future. According to the keynote speaker, sustainability requires organizing our societies differently. For a change of mindsets - of political leaders, bureaucracies, private sector, citizens – crisis is not sufficient, see COVID_19. We must invest urgently in social innovation which is much more than digitalization.

OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE 20TH ANNUAL BMDA CONFERENCE

The 20th Annual Conference has been officially opened on 6th of October by the Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas – honorary president of BMDA and Dean of Adizes Graduate School, Prof. Edita Gimzauskiene – president of BMDA and dean of School of Economics and Business, Prof. Panagiotis (Takis) Damaskopoulos -the Industry 4.0 ERA Chair holder at KTU School of Economics and Business and the Executive Director and Head of Research of the European Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (EIIR) in Paris, France, who also acts as the Chairman of the Conference and European Commissioner – Mr,Virginijus Sinkevičius.
This day has been dedicated for business perspectives on 3 different angles: Geo-economic and Geopolitical Challenges and Scenarios; Capital and Policy Responses to Digitalization Challenges and Value Creation; Real Cases on the Latest Digitalization Transformation.

Kick off the knowledge and networking fiesta in Kaunas!

This year Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) is celebrating 20th Anniversary and has gathered its members and friends to the Annual BMDA Conference “From Digitalization to Value Creation And Sustainability. Implications For Business And Education”, which this year is hosted by School of Economics and Business (KTU) and takes place in Kaunas.

As it has already become a tradition the Conference lasts 3 days but differently from the previous Conferences the first day of 20th Annual BMDA Conference unfolded visiting KTU multifunctional center with a 24-hour open library, meeting old friends and colleagues, discussing and networking and preparing for upcoming two intensive days of leaning, sharing insights and discussing.
