Striking results graphene oxide and nanosilver GC HALO® ink highly effective against S.aureus and E.coli.

Lithuania-lead international consortium (Gamtos tyrimų centras, Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University, Graphene Composites Ltd and Pro for nano) demonstrated GC HALO® effectiveness against bacteria according to ISO 20743 standard. After 24 hours S.aureus and E.coli counts dropped by 99.99999% on graphene oxide and nanosilver treated textiles.

A Lithuanian-led Eureka study (Eureka NEGOI) that is testing a unique nanotechnology ink formulation, GC Halo®, against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli , has shown significant results in destroying the bacteria.

Nanocopper is a great conductor and is better priced than silver. Copper oxidation is the main challenge to be resolved before it may be used globally in solar cells. Pro for nano is working on a vacuum production process to reduce oxidation.

Nanocopper is expected to replaces silver in solar panels and to reduce PV cell production costs. A new production method for nanocopper is in development.
