Smart It Cluster SMART IT Cluster was established in 2008. Cluster's main objective is to develop integrated IT solutions for the agricultural, energy and banking sectors.

In 2011, the total turnover of the cluster was 16 million EUR and over 100 people were employed by 15 cluster members. University of technological sciences widely contributes with science part in the cluster. Cluster develops integrated IT solutions which are designed to manage operational performance, its efficiency and the current maximum cost reduction. The products have been recognized by a nu

mber of awards in the Baltic countries and already are introduced to the other markets. The Cluster takes steps towards following markets: Latvia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Argentina.
