🌍 Making an Impact Beyond the Office: Big Cleaning Day at Deloitte

At Deloitte, being environmentally responsible isn’t just a statement, it’s something we actively live. As part of Earth Month, our colleagues took part in Big Cleaning Day on April 25th, showing that sustainability starts with individual action. 🌱

Despite challenging weather conditions, many team members stepped out to clean, while others carried the momentum into the first weekend of May. Rain or shine, the commitment stayed strong.

Equipped with gloves, rubbish bags, and a shared sense of purpose, we worked side by side to help keep our environment clean and thriving. More than just a cleanup, the day reflected our dedication, and the belief that small actions can lead to meaningful change.

Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of hosting Deloitte’s Reporting Advisory Breakfast.

Together with finance professionals and industry peers, we explored key topics shaping the future of finance — from the latest developments in IFRS (including new standard IFRS 18 and the need to re-assess existing standards like IFRS 15/16) to the growing impact of AI, digitalisation, and evolving operating models within finance functions.

A highlight of the morning was the interactive Future of Finance session, where participants engaged in the Future of Finance Barometer and reflected on how prepared their organisations are for ongoing transformation — from data-driven decision making to shifts in work culture and talent.

This Wednesday, we had the pleasure of bringing together professionals for a Transfer Pricing Business Breakfast focused on some of the most pressing topics in today’s tax landscape.
Over the morning, we explored key areas shaping transfer pricing practices:

• Management and group fees in loss-making entities, and how to mitigate increasing transfer pricing risks
• The importance of robust business restructuring analysis and its impact on group value chains
• Transfer pricing implications of cash-pool arrangements and intra-group financing risks
• Employee stock option plan related challenges and identifying appropriate intra-group remuneration

The discussion was further enriched by an engaging panel with representatives from the Lithuanian Tax Authority and the Tax Dispute Commission. Together, we dove into:
