Progressive Business Solutions UAB (PBS) is a consulting company of Lithuanian capital established in 2006. From the day of the establishment the company’s main business has been the development of international cooperation. In cooperation with foreign partners, PBS is expanding export markets of Lithuanian manufacturing companies and acts as an intermediary in transferring production capacities t

o Lithuania. Cooperation with the Lithuanian Development Agency (LDA), later with Enterprise Lithuania and Invest Lithuania has been ongoing from the start of business. Cooperation in export development and attracting investments is taking place by formulating common positions of the Lithuanian business in international markets and using the existing PBS business relations within international corporations. From the outset the company’s strategy has been aimed at the engineering industry as the main branch of manufacturing industry. Currently, the biggest foreign partners of PBS include such corporations as ABB, METSO, ANDRITZ, RAUTE, VDL, Nielsen & Nielsen, SIEMPELKAMP, KONECRANES, INDRA, etc.

Galvės Taurė 2026 – finišuota su kova iki paskutinio plaukimo! ⛵

Gegužės 29–31 d. Trakuose vykusi tradicinė tarptautinė „Galvės Taurė“ ir vėl subūrė stiprią buriuotojų bendruomenę iš Baltijos šalių. Šiemet regatoje varžėsi daugiau nei pusšimtis jachtų, o „Platu 25“ klasėje prie starto linijos stojo net 16 komandų.

„PBS Sailing Team“ regatą baigė 7-oje vietoje „Platu 25“ įskaitoje. Per visą seriją netrūko iššūkių – navigacinio plaukimo, priešvėjinių ir pavėjinių lenktynių, besikeičiančių oro sąlygų, stipresnio vėjo, ramesnių atkarpų ir taktinės kovos dėl kiekvieno metro.

Komanda finišavo surinkusi 34 taškus, o paskutiniame plaukime parodė charakterį – iškovojo 4 vietą tarp stiprių konkurentų. Tai ne tik rezultatas lentelėje, bet ir dar vienas žingsnis į priekį: daugiau susidirbimo, aiškesni sprendimai, geresnis tempas ir dar stipresnė komandinė dvasia.

Nuoširdžiai dėkojame „PBS Sailing Team“ įgulai už atsidavimą, susikaupimą ir kovą iki pat finišo. Didžiuojamės komanda, kuri demonstruoja tas pačias vertybes tiek ant vandens, tiek kasdienėje veikloje – pasitikėjimą, bendradarbiavimą ir siekį nuolat tobulėti.

Taip pat dėkojame organizatoriams – Gero Vėjo Klubas , Lietuvos buriuotojų sąjungai, teisėjams ir visai Trakų buriavimo bendruomenei už puikiai surengtą regatos savaitgalį.

Last weekend in Trakai, the first stage of the Platu 25 Lithuanian Cup reminded us that sailing — much like business — is rarely about perfect conditions. ⛵

PBS Sailing Team faced several technical challenges during the regatta, forcing them to adapt quickly, stay focused, and keep pushing forward despite setbacks on the water. Finishing 10th out of 18 teams under those circumstances was not just about the result itself, but about resilience, trust, and the ability to perform when things do not go according to plan. 💨⚙️

And maybe that’s exactly why this photo captures the weekend so well. Not the start, not the finish line, not a podium — just a moment of adjusting, fixing, and finding a way forward. Strong teams are built in the process, through adaptation and teamwork. 🔧🌊💪
