Praėjusių metų gruodžio mėnesį atlikome Pragyvenimo Algos (angl. Living Wage) analizę Baltijos šalių sostinėse. Tai kiek kontroversiška, tačiau reikalinga tema, skatinanti darbuotojams atlyginti nesiremiant vien nustatytu minimaliu darbo užmokesčiu, bet suprantant ir realius jų pragyvenimo kaštus.

In December, last year, we calculated the Living Wage in the capital cities of the Baltic States. It is somewhat controversial, but much-needed topic, that allows us to have another point of reference for employee compensation - no longer relying solely on the minimum wage, but taking into account the living costs of our employees.

Inspire change. Start with yourself.

Last Thursday we congratulated five top "Equal Pay 2018" award winners in Lithuania - Mondelez, Nasdaq, Sanofi-Aventis, Svyturys-Utenos Alus and BTA Insurance. We are glad to observe the perspective of employers who take into account both variables in the success formula in the labour market - to be competitive payers externally and fair payers internally. The way employers treat their employees matters first as it reflects in the way the clients are served. Also, in a tightening labor market environment paying competitive salaries will give you more chances to attract scarce top talent. We encourage not only to follow the example but to lead and inspire change and to work towards more fair workplace ecosystem.
