Currently Merx is looking for capable and motivated INTERNS to join commodities research team. Successful completion of internship is likely to lead to full time employment.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Financial modeling and maintenance of the models (mostly using MS Excel)• Assisting on commodities markets research • Ad hoc research on “hot issues” (response to financial markets dynamics)
KEY COMPETENCES AND SKILLS: • Understanding the principles of corporate finance, accounting and macro economics • Proficient user of MS Office and good overall computer literacy • Developed research skills, ability to quickly find and process data • Advanced English skills (oral and written), other languages like French, German or Russian is an advantage • Ambitious personality and can-do attitude • Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time, focus on details • Last year BsC or MsC student in Finance/Economics/Math or related studies o possibility to combine internship and studies
