In 2019, Odysseus Space was founded with a clear mission - to pave the way for a new era in space communication. The journey began as our team of experts provided consultancy support for various smal
l-scale missions. Motivated by the mission's innovative technology, the founders envisioned a groundbreaking solution for space- to-ground laser communication. Odysseus Space emerged in Luxembourg, propelled by the win of the ESA Space Resources Award. The seeds of our vision sprouted as we secured the inaugural ESA contract, embarking on the odyssey of Cyclops™ development. As the constellations aligned, we consolidated our business plan and design for Cyclops™, with customers, setting the stage for a revolutionary leap in space data communication. In 2021, a second ESA contract was signed for the development of our flagship product, Cyclops™. Simultaneously, an agreement unfolded to integrate Cyclops™ Optical Ground Stations into a prominent Ground Stations Network, solidifying our presence in the interconnected cosmos. Since then, ODYSSEUS has continued to make significant strides. Their Cyclops™ solution has gained interest from multiple customers eager to utilize its capabilities once demonstrated. With an unwavering commitment to innovation, ODYSSEUS Space remains dedicated to transforming space communication and creating a brighter future for all.
