The day stood out not only for the inspiring conversations, but also for the unique setting at the University of Hohenheim, housed in the former Hohenheim Castle, offering a memorable backdrop for connecting with future talent from diverse scientific backgrounds.

💧 Curious about how pharmaceutical companies can know their products are safely produced?

To ensure medicines are manufactured safely, Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing experts can help test the facilities where drugs are produced and the materials used during manufacturing. Hailey Hughes, a Microbiologist from the Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing network of laboratories in the United States, can tell you more!

From environmental monitoring to water testing, she helps ensure biological resources that medicines are exposed to during production are safe and compliant. She shares:

“As a Microbiologist in the facility validation testing group, I go offsite to client facilities and collect environmental samples, then bring them back and test them. My role involves a mix of both worlds: collecting and testing samples.”

During her time within the Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing network, Hailey has welcomed each opportunity to advance her skillset and take on more responsibilities: “After two impactful years in a Senior Laboratory Technician role, I was ready to take on an even greater challenge. I was offered the opportunity to become a Scientist and I took it! I am now a Microbiology Scientist striving to always further my career with as much knowledge and opportunities as possible.”

💡 The Eurofins National Service Centre (NSC) in Germany recently hosted an onboarding event for new and existing colleagues.

Held both in person and online, the event brought together managing directors, business controllers and human resources team members from across the Eurofins network in Germany. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to explore the extensive range of services offered by the support office while also building strong connections.

🌱 With positive feedback, including strong mention of enhanced collaboration and insight, participants are ready to embrace their roles and help make the world a safer, healthier planet together.

🌱 Connecting agricultural expertise across Europe!

Colleagues from Eurofins Agro Testing companies in Europe came together in Utrecht, the Netherlands, for their annual Commercial Exchange Days.

Across four product pillars – seed, horti, forage and soil – teams shared best practices, challenged perspectives and strengthened collective expertise, all with a clear focus on better customer solutions and commercial growth.

🚣 Especially memorable were the moments beyond the workshops: cruising Utrecht’s canals, shared meals and meaningful conversations that strengthened collaboration across borders.

🌼 Did you know? Honey bees travelling from flower to flower are more than just a pretty sight; the species is the world’s most important pollinator.

Environmental changes including new agricultural practices mean high levels of concern globally about pollinator safety. Today we recognise Eurofins Agroscience Services companies who lead efforts to support and protect bee health.

🌟 Learning, connection and action – all starting with a single visit!

Teams from the Eurofins Professional Scientific Services Insourcing Solutions network in the United Kingdom (UK) recently visited The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool, UK, to learn more about its work supporting people affected by cancer across the region – funding research into vital treatments and equipment for enhanced patient care.

Team members were grateful to see first hand how fundraising is transformed into meaningful support for patients and their families during life changing moments.

⛰️ The visit also highlighted ways to support local charities, including taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge – an outdoor endurance event that involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours.

Inspired by what they saw, many colleagues have since signed up to sponsor the challenge, marking the beginning of their support for a charity whose work touches countless lives.
