🍇 Fighting Esca starts with caring for the vine in the long run.
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Volker Jörger, specialist in viticulture & oenology, to Clos Jangli.
Together, we worked on a gentle pruning approach, designed to respect the sap flow and reduce wounds on the vines.
👉 Better-placed cuts
👉 Fewer large pruning wounds
👉 Healthier, longer-lasting vines
Because healthy vines mean better grapes… and better wines in the glass 🍷

On the slopes of the Scheierberg, Pinot Noir draws its character from a rare terroir where clay, limestone and gypsum naturally come together.
This living soil offers fine structure, controlled freshness and elegant depth.✨
The 2023 vintage reveals an expressive red wine, where ripe red and dark fruits intertwine with delicate hints of vanilla and spice, all carried by a luminous ruby hue.
On the palate, the texture is silky, the tannins velvety, and the subtle balance between fruit and oak shapes a finish of pure finesse.
