🤔Is Wire-O Binding the same as Spiral/Coil Binding?
Although these two binding methods share some similarities, Wire-O binding is not the same thing as Spiral/Coil binding! Wire-o binding is a popular commercial binding method, and is known by various names, including double loop wire, double-o, ring wire, twin loop wire, wire comb, wire-o, wirebind and wiro. With this binding method, users insert their punched pages onto a C-shaped spine, and then use a wire closer to squeeze the spine until it is round! Books, Notebooks, Catalogues and Calendars that are bound with wire binding will open completely flat on a desk, and allow for 360 degree rotation of bound pages!
We are currently running two half automatic wire-o bindinders and one fully automatic wire-o binding line!
