We are honoured to share that the crew of Asphalt Splendor have been awarded a Certificate of Commendation from Marshall Islands Maritime Administration for their remarkable rescue of four sailors from the powerless yacht BlueSky in the Atlantic Ocean earlier this year.

In seas of around 3.5 metres and force 6 northeasterly winds, the team demonstrated extraordinary skill and composure completing the rescue after several attempts and bringing all four survivors safely aboard without a single injury.
