We’re almost halfway through the year, and the Mapon team is running at full speed! See what’s new in May.
• Mapon platform can now fill out various information fields automatically if the user provides a vehicle identification number (VIN). These include make, model, gross weight, and more.
• The CO2 report now calculates emissions accurately for various green fuels, including HVO, CBG, and LBG. Additionally, the reporting now is based on ISO 14083:2023 TTW (Tank-to-Wheel), which is an international standard for transport CO2 reporting.
• Using the Mapon Driver app, users can follow the dispatcher’s prepared route on their vehicle’s screen if it supports Apple CarPlay.
• Speeding alerts are triggered if a vehicle drives too fast in relation to the specific location’s actual speed limit. Now our clients can trigger the alert from 5 km/h speeding all the way up to 100 km/h.
• In Camera settings, platform users can now set different settings related to speeding for one of our most popular camera models. This includes speed limit (km/h) and valid time (seconds), alongside the event upload format, in-cabin audio alert, and clip saving durations.
• In Camera memory card section, there is the option to click anywhere on the route to watch footage from that specific moment. Now clicking on routes works more consistently.
• In Tasks and routes solution, platform users can view accurate ETA in the information panel for the specific route.
• The Map in the Tasks section now keeps the right things in view automatically. For example, when a user opens one or multiple routes, the map zooms out to fit the vehicle plus every opened route and any checkmarked stop.
• In the Tachogram platform our clients can ask questions to the virtual assistant TIA to get quick answers. This assistant uses information from our Help Center.
• Tachogram data analysis systems are now better at identifying which rest period counts as weekly rest, assigning rest to the correct week, and finding valid compensation periods.
