📢 CyberCommandoMeetUp Conference & Expo 2024 Recap: A Huge Success! 🚀

With 330 onsite participants and 5 parallel sessions covering a wide range of essential topics – from general cybersecurity, hacking, compliance, awareness raising, to technology innovations – this year's event was truly remarkable. We hosted 40 speakers from 14 countries, showcasing the latest trends and developments in AI new regulatory and also threats, EU DORA, EU GDPR, EU NIS2, local and corporate policies, and more.

Special thanks to the Women4Cyber Latvia Chapter and OWASP Latvia Chapter for their invaluable contributions, and to ISACA Latvia Chapter and personally to Deivids Golubs (Bank of Latvia) for conducting a workshop. We also had a masterclass lecture by world-class sports bridge player Karlis Rubins, adding a unique dimension to the event.

Our expo featured 15 incredible stands, with support from companies like ALSO, Hermitage, Baltijas Datoru Akademija, Dati group, Stallion, IT Eksperts and others, and the Latvian Association of Certified Data Protection Professionals, along with the backing of the State Data Inspection.

To top it off, we all enjoyed a memorable afterparty that brought together participants, sponsors, and speakers to celebrate the success of the event.

📢 Atskats uz CyberCommandoMeetUp konferenci un expo 2024: Lielisks panākums! Augam! 🚀

Ar 330 dalībniekiem klātienē un 5 paralēlajām sesijām, kas aptvēra plašu aktuālo tēmu loku – sākot no kiberdrošības, hakeru darbības, atbilstības regulām, izpratnes veicināšanas līdz tehnoloģiskām inovācijām – šī gada pasākums bija patiesi jaudīgs. Mūs pagodināja 40+ lektori-eksperti no 14 valstīm, kuri dalījās ar jaunākajām tendencēm un attīstību mākslīgajā intelektā, jaunajās regulās un apdraudējumos, ES DORA, ES GDPR, ES NIS2, vietējās un korporatīvajās politikās un citās būtiskās tēmās.

Īpaša pateicība Women4Cyber Latvia nodaļai un OWASP Latvia nodaļai par viņu nenovērtējamo ieguldījumu, kā arī ISACA Latvia nodaļai (un personīgi Deividam Golubam (Latvijas Banka)) par darbnīcas vadīšanu. Tāpat mums bija meistarklase, kuru vadīja pasaules klases sporta tilta spēlētājs Kārlis Rubins, kas piešķīra pasākumam unikālu dimensiju.

Mūsu pasākumiem ar stendiem un jaukām dāvanām apmeklētājiem piedalījās arī 15 uzņēmumi, tai skaitā ALSO, Hermitage Solutions, Baltijas Datoru Akadēmija, Dati Group, Stallion, IT Eksperts un citi, kā arī īpašs paldies Latvijas Sertificēto Datu Aizsardzības Speciālistu Asociācijai, kas pasākuma ietvaros organizēja "Digitālās Ēras" konferences "turpinājumu, ar atbalstu no LR Valsts Datu Inspekcijas, īpaši tās vadītājas Jekaterinas macukas personā.

Un, lai visu noslēgtu, mums bija neaizmirstama pasākuma neoficiālā daļa ar dzīvo mūziku un iluzionista Valdemāra Veisa priekšnesumu, kas pulcēja kopā dalībniekus, atbalsītājus un lektorus, lai svinētu pasākuma panākumus.

🗓️ Save the Date! On September 25th, the CyberCommando's Meetup 2 will take place—a must-attend annual conference for industry professionals!

This industry-independent event is designed for specialists in both the private and public sectors whose daily work involves cybersecurity, digital risks, audits, and legal or techno-centric compliance with EU regulations and directives (GDPR, DORA, NIS2, AI regulations, as well as Latvian legislation—National Cybersecurity Law, MK 442). The seminar will be held in Latvian and English across five parallel thematic sessions, featuring 35 experts from 14 countries speaking and exhibiting.
