At Deloitte, being environmentally responsible isn’t just a statement, it’s something we actively live. As part of Earth Month, our colleagues took part in Big Cleaning Day on April 25th, showing that sustainability starts with individual action. 🌱

Despite challenging weather conditions, many team members stepped out to clean, while others carried the momentum into the first weekend of May. Rain or shine, the commitment stayed strong.

Equipped with gloves, rubbish bags, and a shared sense of purpose, we worked side by side to help keep our environment clean and thriving. More than just a cleanup, the day reflected our dedication, and the belief that small actions can lead to meaningful change.

A room full of curious minds, bold ideas, and honest conversations about the future of work ✨

On April 15, the SheXO community gathered once again to explore one of today’s most urgent topics – how leadership, skills, and organizations must evolve in an age of constant change.

The day brought together inspiring speakers from different backgrounds, each offering a unique perspective on what it truly means to grow, adapt, and lead today.

Laima Ziediņa-Mikaljūna (BDA) opened the conversation by diving into the reality of future skills and the growing role of AI. Her message was clear – the real challenge isn’t technology itself, but how ready we are to rethink the way we learn, work, and make decisions.

Pārsla Baško (FYUL) shifted the focus to leadership, highlighting the idea of leaders as multipliers. Strong organizations are no longer built on individual expertise alone, but on leaders who can elevate others, create clarity, and unlock team potential.

Laura Krastiņa (Balcia Insurance) shared her journey from one industry to another to insurance and then to insurtech, showing how career transformation is not just possible, but necessary. Her story reflected the importance of staying open, curious, and willing to step into the unknown.

Liene Voroņenko (LDDK) brought a practical perspective on reskilling – how to make it meaningful, not just another checkbox. True development happens when learning is embedded into everyday work, not treated as a separate initiative.

The joint discussion, thoughtfully moderated by Kristīne Jarve and joined by Guna Puce, Head of the Latvian Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC), brought everything into focus – from AI integration to education systems and the shared responsibility between individuals and organizations in continuous learning.

Key takeaway: There is no shortcut to staying relevant. Organizations that invest in learning cultures, and leaders who create space for growth, will be the ones that move forward with confidence. In a world where knowledge is always accessible, the real advantage lies in how we think, adapt, and apply it.
