The conference, taking place in Pretoria, South Africa, from October 19 to 23, 2026, is centered on the visionary theme: "Accelerating clean energy innovation: From Africa to the world."
Tackling the global energy crisis requires not just new technology, but new forms of Open Science that break down the traditional knowledge silos between continents. 🤝 As we discuss paths to a sustainable energy transition, my focus will be on strengthening Euro-Med and African research diplomacy. 🔬 We must leverage AI to enhance research productivity and build robust international joint research collaborations that accelerate real-world solutions.
