Just minding my business doing laundry when I hear a horse whinny. 🐴

Immediately thinking our mini horses escaped so I get the boys and we go outside to see if our girls are in the front yard…

NOPE… just someone casually riding a whole horse down the road.

We asked y’all to guess how many totes we picked up from ONE family… and now it’s time for the big reveal! 🥁

SEVEN. WHOLE. TOTES. 😳😱

🧺 4 totes of clothing
🧺 3 totes of sheets & baby blankets

And because you KNOW I had to weigh it all…

👕 111 POUNDS of clothing
🛏️ 55 POUNDS of bedding

🎉 THAT’S 166 POUNDS OF LAUNDRY FROM ONE HOUSEHOLD!!

And yes, every single pound was picked up right from their doorstep! 🚘

I remember when I was just hoping to get a few laundry customers… and now I’m hauling around SEVEN totes from one family. 🥹🩷

The growth of Okie Laundry Co. has been absolutely incredible and I don’t take a single customer or order for granted.

Packed full car for drop-offs! All 3 of these orders were picked up yesterday afternoon, less than 24 hours ago 👏🏻

📍 All of our orders this week have been south of I-40 and Peebly Rd, south of I-40 and Choctaw Rd, south of 149th and Anderson Rd and near the I-240 & Air Depot area

I’m finishing up 2 remaining orders and have 3 drop-offs tomorrow to finish the week strong 💪🏻

🗓️ This boss babe is worn smooth out and wants to spend the weekend with her husband and boys, so no laundry orders will be processed this weekend!!

Just a little glimpse behind the scenes at Okie Laundry Co. 🤪

And when I say LITTLE, I mean it because this is only about 1/4 of the laundry we’ve been working on this week!! 😳👏🏻

The washers are washing, the dryers are drying, the folding never ends, and the caffeine is working OVERTIME! ☕️😂

But can I just say how incredibly THANKFUL I am?! 🥹🩷

When I look at this mountain of laundry, I don’t just see piles of clothes or a never-ending to-do list. I see families who have trusted ME to take one thing off their plates. I see people choosing to support my little business when they have plenty of other options. And I see a dream that y’all are helping me grow, one load at a time.

I don’t ever want to get so caught up in the busy that I forget what a blessing it is to BE busy. 🥹

Whether you’ve trusted me with your laundry, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, please know that I notice it, I appreciate it, and it means more than I could ever put into words.

The reality of owning a laundry service at 9:29PM… 🧺💀

While most people are winding down for the night, I’m over here folding somebody else’s laundry. 😂

One thing about running a small business — the work doesn’t magically stop when the clock hits 5PM.

I’m the one answering messages, scheduling pickups, driving all over Oklahoma, washing, drying, folding, packaging AND delivering your laundry.

Some nights are long, my feet hurt and I’m running on caffeine and determination. 🤪

But you know what? I’m SO incredibly thankful that this is my reality. 🥹🩷

Every single pile of laundry on this table means someone trusted me with their belongings and supported this little business of mine.

And that will never be lost on me.

Yesterday, I shared about one of our fellow Okie Laundry Co. mamas who could use a little extra love from her community right now.

Our goal is to help her take her kiddos shopping for Halloween costumes so they can enjoy trick-or-treating which can be done in today 🩷 AND hopefully take care of a utility bill or put some groceries in her kitchen to give her a little room to breathe. 🫶🏻

Because sometimes, having just ONE less thing to worry about can make all the difference.

And thanks to some incredibly generous people, we’re already $100 closer to making that happen!! 🥹
