🚀 Highlights from THE FORGE® Demo Day

StartGate Rabat hosted the inaugural THE FORGE® Demo Day, marking the conclusion of a nine-month residential venture journey at UM6P StartGate, bringing together a cohort of 33 founders from 39 countries who chose Morocco as a base to develop and scale globally oriented ventures.

Throughout the journey, participants benefited from structured support, engaging with mentors, investors, sector experts, and corporate partners while leveraging UM6P’s integrated ecosystem, including research capabilities, technical talent, experimentation platforms, infrastructure, and institutional networks.

The Demo Day provided an opportunity to highlight the work carried out throughout the program and to illustrate the value of an ecosystem approach connecting research, entrepreneurship, and venture creation to support the development of globally scalable solutions.

Congratulations to all participating startups for reaching this important milestone, and best wishes as they continue building and scaling their ventures.

🚀 Highlights from the UM6P Explorer Showcase 2026

StartGate was proud to support and celebrate the latest edition of the UM6P Explorer Showcase, bringing together an inspiring community of entrepreneurs, innovators, students, researchers, mentors, and ecosystem partners at UM6P Benguerir.

The event showcased more than 50 entrepreneurial ventures through startup pitches, exhibition booths, and networking moments reflecting the creativity, ambition, and innovation emerging from across the ecosystem.

Developed in collaboration with the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program, UM6P Explorer continues to empower the next generation of founders by providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities to transform ideas into impactful ventures.

Congratulations to all participating teams and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this edition a success.

Japanese Delegation × UM6P

On May 15th, University Mohammed VI Polytechnique welcomed a delegation from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), bringing together representatives from more than 30 Japanese companies across various sectors.

The visit highlighted opportunities for dialogue on strengthening cooperation in innovation, research, energy, and industrial development. This included presentations of the Green Energy Park and StartGate, the university’s startup campus supporting entrepreneurship, alongside pitches from innovative startups such as SimFirst in healthtech and Corosols in greentech.

The exchange at StartGate, which brought together representatives from UM6P Ventures and the showcasing startups, further reflected the ecosystem's commitment to driving innovation-driven partnerships, technology transfer, and sustainable entrepreneurship initiatives.

Institutional Visit - Luxembourg Delegation × UM6P

On May 5th, University Mohammed VI Polytechnique welcomed a delegation from Luxembourg led by H.E. Lex Delles, Minister of the Economy, alongside institutional representatives and diplomatic stakeholders.

The visit highlighted UM6P’s ecosystem approach to innovation, research, and entrepreneurship, including presentations of the FGSES cluster and StartGate, the university’s startup campus supporting venture creation, ecosystem collaboration, and entrepreneurship across Morocco and Africa.
