The Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) is launching a new initiative to strengthen and scale women-led businesses across the OIC region, starting with a pilot project in the Dakhla–Oued Ed-Dahab region.

This initiative will support a selected group of women entrepreneurs through structured training and mentorship, helping them better structure their projects, define clear growth strategies, and build solid financial business plans.

The ambition is to enable these entrepreneurs to become truly investment-ready, better positioned to access financing and engage confidently with banks and potential investors.

This program is fully aligned with ICDT’s broader vision to empower women entrepreneurs and contribute to closing the financing gap across OIC member countries.

It is also part of the G100 Mission Million vision, under the Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Wing, aiming to elevate women entrepreneurs and support the expansion of women-led businesses through access to digital platforms, the Sheconomy, and financial empowerment.
