I made my first sale 4 months after starting my business but I only could make one sell a month for the next 6 months. 🌗

So I had one client a month which was good in a way, I could focus on that one client and give them the best I had to give.👌

But then I couldn't continue having one client a month and so I had to change my strategy and learn a few tricks. 🎩

And, so today I'm sharing them with you so you don't have to go that long without growth:

🌟 Help First. Get Paid Second⁣: Find ways to help as many people as you can in as many ways as you can. Create valuable posts. Give anyone 5-15 minutes of your time to answer questions on the dm's or the comments. The more you help people, the more you'll be recognized as an authority. Once you've established yourself as an authority, you can be very selective on who you actually take on as a paying client.

🌟 Network with other coaches: Sometimes clients come from Referral from other people on the same field as you that believe you are a better fit then themselves for a client.

🌟 Talk about your offer everyday, all day: Talk about your offer as much as you want, people need to see your offer so many times before considering it, so you have to get it in front of there faces as much as possible.

🌟 Build an Email list: Email lists are the best way to land clients.

🌟 Use emotions and get personal: When selling use different kind of emotions, and talk about your experiences and your story.

➡️Well that basically sums up your niche.

A niche is your target audience ➕ the transformation your offer will provide them.

❓But how do you find you niche?

1️⃣Well, as coaches and service providers we tend to sell our skills and passions, so you first need to start by listing those.

2️⃣Second you need to search niche market keywords that are related to your skills and passions.

3️⃣Third, you need to narrow them down to 5 interconnected ones.

4️⃣Fourth you can now define your target audience and your niche from those 5 niche market keyword.

Reaching $10k is a huge Milestones for any business. 🤑

And on the way to that Milestone you learn lessons 👩‍🎓, here are 5 I learned in the process:

1️⃣ TRY NOT TO CREATE TOO MANY CUSTOM PACKAGES FOR CLIENTS Having ONE
streamlined program will SAVE you not only a lot of headache, but it will also set you up to create a scaleable system

2️⃣ HAVE A CLEAR PROGRAM OUTLINE, AND STICK TO IT (DON’T LET YOUR CLIENTS BOOK YOU “WHENEVER THEY’RE READY”)
A big mistake I made was being way too chill with my clients. I offered 8 sessions for my coaching program and it ended up taking some clients 6 months to complete it. I offered this program for $2,000 - $3,000. That is VERY little compensation for 6 months of work.

3️⃣ SET UP A MEMBERSHIP or course PLATFORM TO HOST YOUR RESOURCES
The amount of time I wasted sharing the same tutorials LIVE on my client calls is embarrassing. I would literally repeat the same training over and over again on my client calls. This wasted a lot of time for the client, and it wasted a lot of MY time too

4️⃣ HAVE MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME
Having more than one income stream ensures you have something to fall back on. If your main source of income fails you, you have something else that you can use. With multiple streams of income, it alleviates some money stress that a job loss can bring.

5️⃣ MAKE YOUR BUSINESS YOUR PRIORITY
Prioritising your business is the key to growing it and scaling it.
