To my Mega project MBA students at SIST/ Cardiff Met University

I am faced with the bittersweet ending of our term. It is bitter to walk away from a motivated group that became close knit, but sweet to see all the academic growth you have made in few months. I saw you create arguments about your ideas and prove those statements with concrete details.

I was impressed by how excited you were when you were given the opportunity to explore your passions. Most importantly, thank you for showing me hope in the future of our nation.

I am reminded every year how important education is because I see your eyes fill with wonder when you learn something new.

I implore you, as always, to be safe, pursue your passion and to make wise choices. Read great books, explore your world, and remember what we learned this year—that open-mindedness and knowledge can take us much much further

Many companies, when they decide to invest in team building, decide to do offsite events like bowling nights or ropes courses and spend thousands of dollars.
In my opinion, most corporate team building is a waste of time and money. Events like these may get people to feel closer for a little while; shared emotions can bond people. Those bonds, though, do not hold up under the day-to-day pressures of an organization focused on delivering results.
