M6 Едукативен центар и EIT Community North Macedonia потпишаа Меморандум за соработка, со што поставуваат темели за стратешко партнерство насочено кон поттикнување на иновациите, развојот на човечкиот капитал и јакнењето на иновацискиот екосистем во земјата. 🤝

Оваа соработка ја одразува заедничката заложба на двете организации за создавање нови можности за учење, професионален развој и размена на знаење и добри практики. Истовремено, таа претставува чекор кон посилно поврзување на академската заедница, бизнис секторот и иновацискиот екосистем.

Во рамките на партнерството ќе се реализираат заеднички обуки, работилници и други едукативни активности, ќе се поддржуваат иновативни иницијативи и ќе се создаваат можности за развој на знаења и вештини кои ќе придонесат за поголема конкурентност и одржлив раст.

We are excited to announce that 162 early-stage teams have been selected for the 2026 edition of EIT Jumpstarter! 🎉

This year’s cohort brings together 30 teams in each of the following key thematic areas:

🩺 Healthcare, powered by EIT Health
🍎 Food & Agritech, powered by EIT Food
⛏️Raw Materials: metals, minerals and industrial side streams, powered by EIT RawMaterials
⚡ Energy and Renewables, powered by InnoEnergy
🚲 Smart Cities and Mobility, powered by EIT Urban Mobility

In addition, 12 teams have been selected for a thematic-agnostic category supporting Maltese startups and innovations, powered by EIT Communities together with Xjenza Malta.

Starting this week, the selected teams begin their journey with the Online Bootcamps. Through hands-on entrepreneurial training, expert mentoring, and tailored support, participants will work to validate their ideas, develop strong business models and prepare to bring their innovations closer to the market.

🤝 Strengthening Collaboration for Innovation in North Macedonia

We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the EIT Community Hub North Macedonia and the EIT National Contact Point (NCP) North Macedonia on 8 June 2026.

Through this MoU, we aim to bring the opportunities, knowledge, and networks of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) ecosystem closer to stakeholders across North Macedonia.

By joining forces, we will work to:
✅ Increase awareness of EIT opportunities among innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, students, businesses, and public institutions
✅ Strengthen stakeholder engagement with EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs)
✅ Foster innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration at national and European levels
✅ Support the integration of North Macedonian stakeholders into the wider European innovation ecosystem

We look forward to working together to unlock new opportunities, build stronger connections, and contribute to a more innovative and competitive future for North Macedonia.

Applications for the second edition of the Startup Pitch Competition (led by EIT Urban Mobility) close on 8 July 2026 at 17:00 CET.

There are prizes of €15,000, €10,000 and €5,000, alongside the mentorship and visibility start-ups need to keep growing.

🚀 Vezilka AI Factory Antenna officially launches – North Macedonia joins the European AI ecosystem

On 24 June 2026 in Skopje, the official launch of VEZILKA – the national AI Factory Antenna will mark an important milestone in the country’s digital transformation.

Led by the culty of Computer Science and Engineering (Факултет за информатички науки и компјутерско инженерство (ФИНКИ)) and supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, VEZILKA connects North Macedonia to the European AI ecosystem through the Euro CC North Macedonia - Национален центар за компетенции HPC, HPDA и AI initiative.

Inspired by the idea of “weaving” knowledge, data and technology, the project aims to:
🔹 boost innovation and AI adoption
🔹 strengthen research and digital capacities
🔹 foster collaboration across Europe

Girls Go STEM 2026 invites young girls to tackle space debris challenges—an inspiring way to learn, collaborate, and shape the future of space! 🚀

Calling all future space innovators!🪐

The Girls Go STEM Student Challenge 2026 is open. Girls aged 14–19 are invited to tackle one of space’s biggest real-world problems: orbital debris. Teams of 2–4 redesign a space component to fail more safely —and present their idea in a short video.

No space expertise needed, just curiosity and a great team. Our free online course does the rest.

The best teams travel to our Autumn 2026 event in Europe. All costs covered.
