Writing တိုးတက်ဖို့ အခြေခံအကျဆုံးအချက်များ
- ကျောင်းသား/ ကျောင်းသူတွေအများစုကို Writing ရေးခိုင်းလိုက်မယ်ဆိုရင် idea block ဖြစ်တာတွေ ရှိကြတာကို ဆရာ/ဆရာမတွေအနေနဲ့ အမြဲကြုံဖူးကြမှာပါ
- ဒီလိုအချိန်မျိုးမှာ ဆရာ/ဆရာမတွေအနေနဲ့ အကောင်းဆုံးSupport လုပ်ပေးနိုင်တာကတော့ Scaffolding လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် အကြောင်းအရာအသစ်တွေ ရေးတဲ့အခါမှာ idea ရအောင်လို့ ကူညီပေးနိုင်ပါတယ်
- အဲ့ဒီတော့ Scaffolding လို့ပြောတဲ့နေရာမှာ Bruner’s (1976) idea of scaffolding ကို အခြေခံပြီးတော့ ဒီPost မှာ ဆွေးနွေးသွားပါမယ်။ Scaffolding လုပ်တဲ့ နည်းလမ်း ၄ မျိုး ရှိတဲ့အနက်က ပထမဆုံးအချက်ကတော့ Written Guidelines ပေးခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဥပမာပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် ကျောင်းသားရေးရမယ့် အကြောင်းအရာမှာ အသုံးပြုမယ့် Tenses/ Vocabulary/ Structure of the paragraphs စတာတွေကို Writing စပြီး မရေးခင်မှာ ဆရာဘက်က Guidelines ပေးလိုက်ခြင်းမျိုးကို ဆိုလိုပါတယ်။
- ဒုတိယအချက်အနေနဲ့ကတော့ Graphic Organizers တွေကို Idea Brainstormingလုပ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ အသုံးပြုခြင်းပါပဲ။ ဒီနေရာမှာ ကျွန်မရဲ့အတွေ့အကြုံနဲ့ဆက်စပ်ပြီး ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် Graphic Organizers တွေဖြစ်တဲ့ T-Chart/ Story Map/ Venn Diagram/ Mind map စတာတွေကို သုံးလိုက်တဲ့အတွက် Draft Writing မှာ idea တွေက organize ဖြစ်သွားသလို ကျောင်းသားတွေကလည်း သူတို့ရေးရမယ့် Writing အပေါ်မှာ အချက်အလက်ပြည့်ပြည့်စုံစုံရသွားတယ်လို့ ခံစားရတာကြောင့် confidence ရှိသွားတာကို တွေ့ရပါတယ်။
- တတိယအချက်အနေနဲ့ Modelling ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းပါပဲ။ ဥပမာအနေနဲ့ ဆရာက Writing မှာရေးမယ့်အကြောင်းအရာနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး parts of speech/ word class စတာတွေကို draft writing အဆင့်မှာ modeling လုပ်ပြီးတော့ ရေးပေးတာမျိုးပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ ကျောင်းသားနဲ့အတူတူ ကူစဉ်းစားပေးတာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်လုပ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
- စတုတ္ထအချက်ကတော့ Prompts တွေပေးတာပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဥပမာအနေနဲ့ Wh-questions တွေ သုံးပြီးတော့ ကျောင်းသားဘက်က idea ရလာအောင် လမ်းပြမေးခွန်းတွေမေးပေးတာမျိုးကို ဆိုလိုတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

“Intonation ဘာကြောင့် အရေးကြီးတာလဲ”

Intonationကို မြန်မာလိုအခေါ်ဆိုရင် လေယူလေသိမ်းလို့ ပြောကြသလို အသံအတက်အကျလို့လည်း နားလည်ထားကြပါတယ်။

Intonation ဆိုတာက အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာတစ်ခုထဲမှာပဲ ရှိတာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။

ဘာသာစကားအားလုံးမှာ သူ့နည်းသူ့ဟန်နဲ့ ရှိနေကြတာပါ။

အဲ့ဒီတော့ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကားကို လေ့လာတဲ့နေရာမှာ စကားလုံးရွေးချယ်မှုတွေသာမကပဲ Intonation ကလည်း အရေးပါတဲ့နယ်ပယ်တစ်ခုအနေနဲ့ ပါဝင်နေပါတယ်။

တကယ်လို့ လူတစ်ယောက်နဲ့ တစ်ယောက် Communicate လုပ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ Word Choice, Grammar, Speaking Patterns အစရှိတာတွေ မှန်နေပေမယ့်လည်း Intonation သာ မမှန်ကန်ဘူးဆိုရင် တစ်ဖက်လူဆီကို ကိုယ်ပေးချင်တဲ့ message မရောက်ပဲ နားလည်မှုလွဲတာတွေ၊ Communication Fail ဖြစ်တာမျိုးတွေ ဖြစ်ရမှာပါ။

English Learners တွေအနေနဲ့ Native Speaker တစ်ယောက်လို Intonation တွေ မှန်နေရမယ်လို့လည်း မဆိုလိုပါဘူး။

အဓိက အရေးကြီးတာကတော့ Learners တွေအနေနဲ့ Intonation Awareness ရှိနေဖို့လိုပါတယ်။

ဥပမာဆိုရင် Varied Intonation နဲ့ Flat Intonation ရှိပါတယ်။

Varied Intonation ဆိုတာကတော့ အလွယ်ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ Feeling (ဒါမှမဟုတ်) Attitude ကို သေချာလေး Express လုပ်နိုင်တာပါပဲ။

Monotone လို့လည်း လူသိများတဲ့ Flat Intonation ကတော့ မျက်လုံးထဲမြင်သာအောင် ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် Robotic ဆန်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် Communication တို့ Presentation တို့လုပ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ Flat Intonation ကိုသာ တောက်လျှောက်အသုံးပြုနေမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ အောင်မြင်တဲ့Communication မဖြစ်စေနိုင်ပါဘူး။

နောက်ဆုံးအချက်အနေနဲ့ ESL Teachers တွေအတွက် ကျောင်းသားတွေကို Intonation Awareness ပေးတဲ့နေရာမှာ Grace အကြိုက်ဆုံးအချက်ကတော့ rising and falling intonation တွေကို Question Tags တွေနဲ့ လေ့ကျင့်ပေးတာကိုပါပဲ။

American Center Yangon “MakerTour in a Box” is a box of maker tools such as a 3D printer, Arduino kits, Micro:bit, and robotic kits to get you started.
Last year, ACY MakerTour was on the road; this year we’re going virtual. Selected partner groups will receive a maker box, followed by online workshops in January 2021. Your local group can then continue and grow a mini makerspace of your own!
Eligible partner groups are enthusiastic makers who can also:
1) Receive the maker tools and provide space for future workshops
2)Coordinate between the MakerTour team and local participants; and
3) Continue the mini Makerspace following the online workshops.
