လူတစ်ယောက်သည် ဒေါ်လာငါးသန်းခိုးမှုဖြင့် ထောင်ငါးနှစ်ကျသွားခဲ့သည်။ တစ်နှစ်ကြာပြီးသောအခါတွင် သူသည် ဖခင်ဖြစ်သူထံမှ စာတစ်စောင်လက်ခံရရှိသည်။
"သားရေ... အဖေ့မှာ မင်းမရှိတော့ အိုကြီးအိုမနဲ့ ကျန်းမာရေးမကောင်းတဲ့အရွယ်မှာ တစ်ယောက်တည်းဖြစ်ကျန်ရစ်တာပါပဲ... အခုဆိုရင် သီးနှံတွေစိုက်ရမယ့်ရာသီရောက်လာပြီ... ဒါပေမယ့် အဖေ့မှာ ပြောင်းစိုက်ဖို့အတွက် လယ်ကွင်းကိုဝိုင်းကူပြီးထွန်ယက်ပေးမဲ့သူ တစ်ယောက်မှမရှိဘူးဖြစ်နေတယ်ကွာ... ငါ့သားကို အဖေနားမှာရှိစေချင်မိတယ်... ဘုရားသခင်ရဲ့အလိုတော်အတိုင်း တို့သားအဖ မကြာခင်မှာ ပြန်ဆုံကြမှာပါ..."
သားဖြစ်သူက စာပြန်လိုက်သည်။
"အဖေ... ကျေးဇူးပြုပြီးတော့ လယ်ကွင်းထဲမှာ လျှောက်မတူးပါနဲ့ဦး... ကျွန်တော့်ပိုက်ဆံတွေကို လယ်ထဲမှာ မြှုပ်ထားတယ်... ကျွန်တော်ထောင်ကထွက်တဲ့အချိန်အထိ စောင့်ပေးပါ..."
ထောင်သားများ၏စာတိုင်းကို အကျဉ်းထောင်တာဝန်ရှိသူများက ဖတ်ရှုစစ်ဆေးကြသည်မှာ ထုံးစံဖြစ်သည်။
နောက်တစ်ရက်မနက်သို့ရောက်လာသောအခါ ဖခင်ဖြစ်သူ၏ လယ်ကွက်ကို တစ်လက်မမကျန် အခမဲ့ထွန်ယက်ပေးပြီး စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းလုပ်ပေးမည့် ကမ်းလှမ်းချက်များ တစ်ရာမကရောက်လာခဲ့သည်။
ရက်အနည်းငယ်အကြာတွင် သားဖြစ်သူက ဖခင်ထံသို့ စာတစ်စောင်ရေးလိုက်သည်။
"အဖေ... သားပို့ပေးလိုက်တဲ့ အကူအညီကို အဖေသဘောကျမယ်ထင်ပါတယ်... အခုဆိုရင် အဖေ အေးအေးဆေးဆေး ပြောင်းစိုက်လို့ရပါပြီ..."
တစခါတစ်ရံ။ ဘယ်နယ်ပယ်မှာဖြစ်ဖြစ် ညဏ်ရည်ညဏ်သွေးဟာအကောင်းဆုံးတန်ဆာပါ
A man is sentenced to 5 years in prison for stealing millions of dollars 💸.
After one year, he receives a letter from his father.
“My son, you have left me alone in my old age and illness.

The son replies:
