Population Services International - Myanmar Population Services International-Myanmar is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization and equal opportunity organization.

PSI is a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world by focusing on serious challenges like a lack of family planning, HIV and AIDS, barriers to maternal health, and the greatest threats to children under five, including malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia and malnutrition. PSI/Myanmar began operations in 1995 and is a recognized leader in improving

the range and quality of products and services delivered through the private health sector. The organizations primary interventions focus on Family Planning, HIV/ STI prevention and treatment, diarrheal disease, Malaria, Tuberculosis, and other health areas through its expansive formal and non-formal network of doctors and health providers. PSI/Myanmar has played a lead role in forging public/private partnerships and has a strong working relationship with MOHS and other key public and private agencies.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of New Business Development to develop a strategic fundraising plan and execute proposal development to secure significant support from and strengthen partnerships with the funders for PSI’s programs. This individual will play a vital role in our continued philanthropic growth by identifying, cultivating, stewarding, and expanding fruitful, long-term relationships with funders in Myanmar and internationally. The position will report directly to the Country Director of Myanmar and work closely with program and finance staff, and related members of the Global team. The position will support other PSI platforms in the Asia region as and when necessary.

PSI Myanmar seeks a Community Mobilizer who will be responsible for coordination between mobile Team Leader/Counselor, volunteer and other stakeholders (TBC, Lab technician) for the smooth implementation of PSI TB Mobile Team’s ACF Activities. He/She will primarily work closely with township authorities in conducting area mapping, sites selection, organizing and health promotion activities under close supervision of Mobile Team Leader. He/She will be responsible for follow up of sputum collection, sputum transportation, receiving Gene results of presumptive TB cases from mobile team and referral of active TB cases to respective treatment centers. He/She will perform the record keeping of financial claim bills, reporting and supporting the supervisor in maintaining mobile team’s fixed assets, help in the movement of assets from one implementing site to another site and other general activities of TB mobile team.
