After setting up the company, you need to submit the following documents within two months together with Annual Return Report.

- Need to open bank account and transfer the paid-up capital as described as in MyCO system and need to provide the credit advice.
- The following documents need to provide for each director who described in the director list
For local director – police recommendation letter of director’s address
For foreign director – Form-C.
- Police recommendation letter of company address that described in the MyCO system.
- If shareholder in the MyCO list was neutral person, need to provide police recommendation letter
- If shareholder in the MyCO list was legal person or legal entity, need to provide related documents of entity.

Regulatory changes in Trading Licenses 🚨

Ministry of Commerce has set to revamp the existing licensing system to become a fully online application system that is cost-effective and time-efficient for the exporters/importers and traders in Myanmar. With the implementation of the upgraded version on registration and e-licensing system, the traders can now register the relevant businesses even before applying the import/export license at the Ministry of Commerce via the TradeNet2.0 online system.

In general, the following application forms are available on TradeNet2.0 online system.
• Certificate of Exporter Importer Registration (EIR Card)
• Retail/Wholesale Registration Certificate;
• Wine Importation Certificate;
• Duty Free Shop Certificate;
• Re-Export Certificate;
• Car Importation Certificate;
• Business Service Agency certificate;
• Export License;
• Import License;
• Export Permit;
• Import Permit.

The applicants still have to prepare the necessary documents and submit digitally on the site. Users can access all the reviews and feedbacks on the tradenet account and the payment will be charged online too.

Did you know Foreigners’ visa extension process under DICA was changed?

Main changes are Foreigners who wish to obtain recommendation letter for visa extension must apply at concerned immigration office at least 90 to 120 days prior to their expiration and after that, have to apply at DICA.

Business Licenses in Myanmar

The first thing after the company establishment is to apply for the relevant business licenses before running the actual operation. The license holder can either be a foreigner or a local, nevertheless, foreigners has the restriction to certain business types.

The investor must confirm the business type, location and investment amount to identify the exact business license required. If the business type needs Recommendation from the concerned Ministry, the relevant information are needed to report according to the requirement set by the Ministry. If the company is newly set in the area, the investors have to pay Advance Income Tax and receive the other tax relief for the new companies from Tax Office.

The licenses are applied at the Township where the company is located and the application procedure is slightly different on location. The process takes around 3~6 weeks depending on the complication of the business type.

ミャンマーでのビジネスライセンス

　会社設立後、実際の事業を行う前に自社の事業と関連する営業許可（ビジネスライセンス）をまず申請する必要があります。ライセンス所有者は外国人でもミャンマー人でも問題はありませんが、外国人に関しては特定の業種において制限があります。

申請が必要なビジネスライセンスの種類を確認するためには、投資家が業種、オフィスの場所、投資額を確定する必要があります。当該省庁からの承認を必要とする業種の場合は、省庁が定めた要件に従って関連情報の報告をする必要があります。新規で設立された会社の場合、税務局に前払い法人税を払う必要があり、その分の免税措置を税務署より受けることができます。
　
ビジネスライセンスは会社が所在するタウンシップにて申請する必要があり、申請手続きはタウンシップによって多少異なります。申請期間は業種にもよりますが、通常は3〜6週間程度です。

Staying in Myanmar for a business?

MBI Center will ensure your stay!

In Myanmar, we don’t have work visas. Foreigners who enter Myanmar with a business purpose need to apply for the E-visa or business visa on arrival. However, it is valid only for 70 days and you have to leave the country once it expires. It applies to both single and multiple visas.

If you want to stay longer without having to re-enter the country, acquiring a Stay Permit is the solution to save you time and money. In addition to the stay permit, you will also need to apply for a Foreigner Registration Card (FRC) to stay in Myanmar over 90 days.
To apply for a Stay Permit, firstly, prepare the required documents, then submit the application to DICA (Directorate of Investment and Company Administration). After getting the DICA approval, proceed with the application at Immigration Bureau.

Applying for the first time, you can get a 6-month stay permit (multi-visa). If you leave the country during the procedure, the application will be invalid.

再入国せずに長期滞在をご希望の場合は、ステイパーミット（滞在許可）を取得することで時間と費用を節約できます。ステイパーミットに加えて、90日以上ミャンマーに滞在するためには外国人登録カード（FRC）も申請する必要があります。

ステイパーミットの申請の流れとしては、まず必要書類をDICA（企業登記室）へ提出し、DICAの承認を得た後、入国管理局で申請を進めることになります。

初回の申請時には、6ヶ月のステイパーミット（マルチビザ）が発行されます。手続き中に出国した場合、申請が無効となりますので、ご注意が必要です。
