Training & New Machine Process

Our Heavy Workshop Department plays a vital role in keeping our heavy machinery reliable, safe, and efficient. By taking care of maintenance, repairs, and fabrication of equipment and parts, it helps minimize downtime, cut operating costs, boost productivity, and ensure the smooth running of our entire organization here at MYTCL.
To streamline the work, we hold weekly discussions that include not only internal training but also meetings between the HOD and supervisors in the Mining Department to cover essential topics. We provide training on the electronic systems, engine velvet training, transmission training, and machine servicing, all following SOP guidelines. MSP (Myan Shwe Pyi Caterpillar) companies also offer training sessions, and when needed, UNW (Caterpillar and Komatsu dealers) steps in to help enhance our employees' skills. When new equipment, such as NPI (New Product Introduction), arrives, we ensure proper training is provided so everyone becomes knowledgeable. Additionally, the department head personally conducts site inspections and shares insights to support our team’s growth.
The Spare Parts and Tire Workshop keeps a good stock of tires, and we order the necessary tires from both local and international suppliers through our purchase requisition system. We also prepare hydraulic pipes, lubricants, and small spare parts in advance to ensure we never run out. For the machines that service the Haul Road, we kindly ask the relevant departments to regularly check the tire condition, avoid overloading, repair the worksite as needed, and monitor the speed limit of 40 km/h.
There are two main types of purchasing systems for acquiring new machines: DDP and CIF. The planner starts by preparing a PR, which then gets approved by the HOD. Afterward, it's registered in the Kingdee cloud system, and a suitable quotation is prepared. The process includes selecting the CS stage, issuing a purchase order, getting approval, and finally ordering the equipment. Keep in mind that some equipment, like the Ex-6020B and the 6M3 motor grader, can take a longer time to purchase.

Which Departments does our Maintenance Service Support?

The Maintenance Department is a vital support team here at MYTCL. While our production teams work hard to create our products, the Maintenance crew makes sure all machinery, equipment, utilities, and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Their dedicated efforts keep our production lines moving without interruption and help us reach our business goals. Their key roles include reducing equipment downtime, boosting productivity, enhancing safety, lowering maintenance costs, maintaining product quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving energy efficiency.
At MYTCL, safety always comes first. Our Maintenance Department regularly inspects machinery, electrical systems, and plant facilities to ensure everything meets safety standards. Keeping everything, well-maintained helps prevent accidents, equipment breakdowns, and unsafe conditions, making our workplace safer and more secure for everyone.
When the Maintenance Department begins a job, they start by creating a daily work plan based on their specific section, beginning with the Toolbox meeting. Typically, they handle about 8 to 10 tasks each day, depending on the number of team members available. These tasks generally fall into two categories: installation and repair. The department is divided into three sections: Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical. Besides their internal duties, they also serve the public community by assisting with CSR Projects managed through the CSD Department. Projects such as renovating the high school in Mine Town with new lighting and wiring, inspecting and repairing water purification units to ensure they work properly, and maintaining the Kyaukmyet water pump. Additionally, they help supply electricity to nearby monasteries like Kyadwintaung and Shwekyauksaung, supporting the community's needs.

Safety Month’s Rationalization & Suggestions Awards Ceremony

On August 6, 2026, Myanmar Yang Tse Copper Limited (MYTCL) warmly celebrated the 2025 Safety Month Rationalization Suggestions Award Ceremony at the New Admin Office. The event was graciously hosted by MYTCL Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhou Bin and MYTCL Deputy General Manager & Safety Director Mr. Zhang Luohu. During the ceremony, 14 dedicated employees were recognized and awarded honorable mentions for their high-quality Rationalization Suggestions during Safety Month, highlighting their valuable contributions.
Under the guidance of Top Management, MWMCL and MYTCL eagerly organize a safety month rationalization suggestion program every year. They warmly invite employees to share their suggestions, and celebrate the best ideas with awards. The main goal of the Safety Month Rationalization Suggestions Program is to motivate every team member to actively spot potential hazards in the workplace, enhance work processes, and boost overall safety, operational efficiency, and company performance. In the Maintenance and Service section, our crews are organized based on the type and age of the machines to ensure efficient service. We take special care of large machinery like digging machines, excavators, loaders, and shovels, as well as smaller equipment such as trucks, auxiliary machines, dozers, IT buckets, graders, compactors, and loaders. The Heavy Equipment Workshop proudly maintains a fleet of 141 machines, dedicated to keeping everything running smoothly and safely.
There are four types of Preventive Maintenance, categorized as PM-1, PM-2, PM-3, and PM-4. PM-2 involves changing the engine oil filter and following the SOP & OEM guidelines. Additionally, there are backlog jobs that are handled with a 24-hour service.
When a machine needs some repair work, it first gets washed in the workshop. Then, the designated mechanic takes it to the repair area, attaches the necessary tags, and removes the engine start key. Several useful systems, like CAT SIS (Service Information System), Link One (Part manual System), ET System (Electronic Technical System), Caterpillar System, and Troubleshoot System, are used to make the servicing smoother. In the Component Section, engine parts, torque converter parts, and hydraulic cylinders are rebuilt and repaired in the HE Workshop. The Welding Section handles repairs and welding for bucket teeth, grader cutting edges, dump bodies, and more, making sure all materials are repaired and reused when possible. Additionally, helpers create and modify hand tools, come up with new ideas, and handle orders and replacements when needed.
Major equipment like engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, final drives, and other key parts can be fixed, replaced, or rebuilt right at our location. Regular checks and quick repairs help ensure brakes, steering, hydraulic systems, and structural components stay in safe working order, which lowers the chance of accidents. Having dependable equipment on hand means our mining, hauling, and processing work can continue smoothly, keeping our production schedules on track. On-site repairs also help save transportation costs, reduce contractor expenses, and minimize losses from equipment downtime, making your operations more efficient and budget-friendly.

What is the HE Workshop?

The Heavy Workshop Department plays a vital role at our MYTCL mine site, as mining equipment works under tough conditions and needs regular maintenance and repairs to stay safe, reliable, and productive. Having an on-site heavy workshop helps prevent long equipment downtimes, keeping operations smooth and costs lower. Heavy machinery like haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, shovels, and drills are essential for our mining activities. With an on-site workshop, repairs or replacements can start right away, avoiding the delays of transporting equipment to an outside facility.
In the Heavy Workshop department, team members start their mornings with a Toolbox Meeting. During this important gathering, they share out job duties, chat about safety topics, and review the machines worked on in recent days, as well as those scheduled for repair today. These Meetings happen during each shift to keep everyone well-informed about safety concerns and new directions within the department. The team also provides around-the-clock machine services across three shifts, ensuring important equipment like mining diggers are taken care of during the day and second shift. Although the department once had 208 team members, it now operates with 121, reflecting some changes over time.

Heavy Workshop ဌာနရှိ ဝန်ထမ်းများသည် ၎င်းတို့၏ မနက်ခင်းများကို Toolbox အစည်းအဝေးဖြင့် စတင်ကြရပါသည်။ ဤအရေးကြီးသော အစည်းအဝေးအတွင်းတွင် ၎င်းတို့သည် လုပ်ငန်းတာဝန်များကို မျှဝေကြ၍ ဘေးကင်းရေးဆိုင်ရာ အကြောင်းအရားများကို ဆွေးနွေးကြပြီး၊ မကြာသေးမီက ပြုပြင်လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သော စက်ပစ္စည်းများအပြင် ယနေ့အတွက် ပြုပြင်ရန်ရှိသော စီစဉ်ထားသည့် စက်ပစ္စည်းများကိုပါ ပြန်လည်သုံးသပ်ကြပါသည်။ ဤအစည်းအဝေးများကို ဌာနအတွင်းရှိ ဘေးကင်းရေးဆိုင်ရာ အသိပေးချက်များနှင့် လမ်းညွှန်ချက်အသစ်များအကြောင်းကို ဝန်ထမ်းအားလုံး ကောင်းစွာ သိရှိနားလည်စေရန်အတွက် အဆိုင်းတိုင်းတွင် ပြုလုပ်လေ့ရှိပါသည်။ သတ္တုတူးဖော်စက်များကဲ့သို့သော အရေးကြီးသော ပစ္စည်းကိရိယာများ၏ ခိုင်ခံ့မှုကို သေချာစေရန်အတွက် Day Shiftအဖွဲ့နှင့် Second Shift အဖွဲ့ ၂ဖွဲ့ထား၍ အဆိုင်းသုံးဆိုင်းတွင်လည်း ၂၄ နာရီ စက်ပစ္စည်း ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကိုလည်း ပေးဆောင်ထားပါသည်။ ယခင်က ဌာနတွင် ဝန်ထမ်းပေါင်း ၂၀၈ ဦး ရှိခဲ့သော်လည်း ယခုအခါတွင် ၁၂၁ ဦးဖြင့် လည်ပတ်နေ၍ အချိန်နှင့်အမျှ ပြောင်းလဲမှုအချို့ရှိသော်လည်း ဝန်ထမ်းများ၏ ကြိုးစားမှုများကို ထင်ဟပ်စေလျက် ရှိပါသည်။

Chinese Language Training

Understanding the Chinese language among Myanmar employees at MYTCL has become an invaluable asset, as it improves communication within the organization, expands career opportunities, and deepens cultural comprehension. Effective communication is essential in all professional environments at Yang Tse, especially within the mining sector where safety and teamwork are of utmost importance.
Chinese language training enables our Myanmar employees to communicate directly with Chinese managers, engineers, and technical specialists. This reduces misunderstandings, improves coordination, and strengthens cooperation between teams. Chinese language skills help employees understand technical terms more easily and participate more actively in training sessions. As a result, knowledge transfer becomes faster and more effective.
Employees proficient in the Chinese language can participate in international training initiatives, communicate effectively with overseas colleagues, and support projects involving Chinese partners.
Chinese language training is more than just learning a new language; it constitutes an investment in people, communication, and organizational success. Consequently, MYTCL initiated a Chinese Language training program for our Myanmar employees, with the first batch commencing on 11th December 2025. The total number of trainees was 27, and the program concluded on 30th June 2026. The verbal proficiency examination was conducted on 2nd July 2026.

MYTCL တွင်ရှိသော မြန်မာဝန်ထမ်းများကြားတွင် တရုတ်ဘာသာစကားကို နားလည်ခြင်းသည် အဖိုးမဖြတ်နိုင်သော ပိုင်ဆိုင်မှုတစ်ခု ဖြစ်လာခဲ့၍ လုပ်ငန်းခွင် အဖွဲ့အစည်းအတွင်း ဆက်သွယ်ရေးကို ပိုမို တိုးတက်ကောင်းမွန်စေပြီး အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းများကို တိုးချဲ့ကောင်းမွန်စေ၍ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာ နားလည်မှုကိုလည်း ပိုမိုနက်ရှိုင်းလာစေပါသည်။ မြန်မာယန်စီတွင် ရှိသော ပရော်ဖက်ရှင်နယ်ဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ငန်းခွင်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အားလုံးတွင် အထူးသဖြင့် ဘေးကင်းရေးနှင့် အဖွဲ့လိုက်လုပ်ဆောင်မှုများဆိုင်ရာ သတ္တုတွင်းကဏ္ဍတွင် ထိရောက်သော ဆက်သွယ်ရေးသည် မရှိမဖြစ်လိုအပ်သော အရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။
တရုတ်ဘာသာစကား သင်တန်းသည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ မြန်မာဝန်ထမ်းများကို တရုတ်မန်နေဂျာများ၊ အင်ဂျင်နီယာများနှင့် နည်းပညာဆိုင်ရာကျွမ်းကျင်သူများနှင့် တိုက်ရိုက်ဆက်သွယ်နိုင်စေပါသည်။ အထင်အမြင်လွဲမှားမှုတွေကို လျော့နည်းစေ၍ ညှိနှိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုကို တိုးတက်ကောင်းမွန်စေပြီး အဖွဲ့များအကြား ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုကို ခိုင်မာစေပါသည်။ တရုတ်ဘာသာစကား ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုသည် ဝန်ထမ်းများကို နည်းပညာဆိုင်ရာ ဝေါဟာရများကို ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူစွာ နားလည်စေ၍ လေ့ကျင့်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ အစည်းအဝေးများတွင် ပိုမိုတက်ကြွစွာ ပါဝင်နိုင်အောင် ကူညီပေးလျက် ရှိပါသည်။ ရလဒ်များအနေဖြင့် အသိပညာလွှဲပြောင်းမှုသည် ပိုမိုမြန်ဆန်၍ ပိုမိုထိရောက်လာပါသည်။
တရုတ်ဘာသာစကား ကျွမ်းကျင်သော ဝန်ထမ်းများသည် နိုင်ငံတကာဆိုင်ရာ လေ့ကျင့်ရေး အစီအစဉ်များမှာ ပါဝင်နိုင်သလို ပြည်ပမှ လုပ်ဖော်ကိုင်ဖက်များနှင့်လည်း ထိရောက်စွာ ဆက်သွယ်နိုင်စေ၍ တရုတ်မိတ်ဖက်များ ပါဝင်သော စီမံကိန်းများကိုလည်း ပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်စေပါသည်။
တရုတ်ဘာသာစကား သင်တန်းသည် ဘာသာစကားအသစ်တစ်ခုကို သင်ယူရုံသာမက ထိုအရာသည် လူသားများ၊ ဆက်သွယ်ရေးနှင့် အဖွဲ့အစည်းအောင်မြင်မှုများမှာ အကြားတွင် ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုတစ်ခု ဖြစ်လာပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် MYTCL သည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ မြန်မာဝန်ထမ်းများအတွက် တရုတ်ဘာသာစကား သင်တန်းအစီအစဉ်ကို စတင်ခဲ့၍ ပထမအသုတ်ကို ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် စတင်သင်ကြားပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ သင်တန်းသားဦးရေ စုစုပေါင်း ၂၇ ဦးရှိ၍ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ဇွန်လ ၃၀ ရက်နေ့တွင် သင်တန်း ပြီးဆုံးခဲ့ပါသည်။ နှုတ်ဖြေစွမ်းရည်စာမေးပွဲကို ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ဇူလိုင်လ ၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။
