Preparing your own plates for Growth Promotion or Bioburden Testing can be tricky. Follow these simple tips to perfect your media preparation skills:

1. Do not re-melt the agar
2. Do not hold media in the molten state for more than 4 hours to preserve integrity of the media
3. Always perform Growth Promotion Testing with each batch of media prepared
