📝𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
As an Electrical Technician, you maintain and service critical electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable offshore operations across the Yadana Gas Field. Your responsibilities span power generation, electrical distribution (HV, LV, UPS, emergency systems), and HVAC equipment—supporting continuous gas production of 800 MMSCF/day. Working with cross-functional teams, you perform maintenance and repairs in alignment with UTEC 18510 standards, contributing to operational excellence through strong safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.

✨𝗞𝐞𝐲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and operations teams to tune power control systems for safe and efficient performance.
• Ensure adherence to electrical standards, engineering practices, and proper tool usage for all job tasks.
• Maintain compliance with company safety regulations and participate in safety drills.
• Oversee contractor qualifications and authorizations as per UTEC18510 rules during electrical or non-electrical interventions.
• Promote environmental responsibility through proper handling of transformer fluids and HVAC refrigerants.
• Communicate material requirements (spares, consumables, tools) to Senior Supervisor for efficient maintenance ex*****on.
• Supervise and perform electrical equipment isolation and lock-off procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot A.C. generators and associated control systems.
• Foster strong relationships with other trades to enhance cooperation in offshore operations.

✨Professional Knowledge and Experience:

• Education: Engineering degree from Universities/Professional Institutes (Electrical/Electronics).
• Experience: Hand-on experience in Oil/Gas field maintenance, refinery, chemical plant/power generation by gas turbine, diesel generator. Knowledge of H.V.& L.V main & emergency power supply & distribution network
• Technical Skills: Good Computer skills
• Communication: Good command of both spoken and written English.

📝𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
Under the supervision of the Instrument Supervisor, the Instrument Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of instrumentation systems at offshore facilities, according to scheduled assignments. This includes servicing, repairing, testing, and maintaining conventional instrumentation across various plants within the Yadana Gas Project. The technician ensures the reliability and integrity of critical systems such as Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Fire & Gas detection. In addition, they provide accurate technical data to the Supervisor for building maintenance performance indicators in accordance with Yadana Asset standards.

✨𝗞𝐞𝐲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Maintain safe operations and equipment reliability at offshore installations through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform troubleshooting on wells, utilities, control center, ESD systems, and fire & gas systems including PLCs.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and safe work practices, participate in safety drills and site safety committees.
• Support construction/modification activities and keep premises, tools, and verification equipment in good condition.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, contribute to procedure development (e.g. emergency cards, bypass protocols).
• Monitor new equipment under test and report performance; propose improvements to maintenance plans.
• Communicate spare part and tool requirements to supervisors, raise requisitions when necessary.
• Train junior technicians in instrumentation duties and troubleshooting to promote independence and technical growth.
• Serve as Event Logger in the Emergency Response Team when assigned.

✨Professional Knowledge and Experience:

• Education: Engineering degree from universities, professional institutes, government technical institute (Electronics/Mechatronics).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position, Oil/Gas field exploitation, refinery and chemical plant, commissioning, start-up.
• Communication: Good command of both spoken and written English.
